It does its job.... The disadvantage for the use I want it for is that it doesn't display the average value of the sound you measure, only the instantaneous value. However, it does display the maximum and minimum value of the sound. Now I am forced to have my phone next to it with a sound meter application (after calibrating it to show approximately the same values as the device) in order to get the average value.

It is relatively user-friendly. The professional specifications mean that it does not record sounds below 30 decibels. And this is as average measurements. Even in fast mode, it does not capture pictures but simulates and records the average intensity. However, this does not mean that it does not record the maximum intensity when it exceeds 1 or 2 seconds. Overall, it is a honest purchase and a quite useful device.
