I would like to say to all those who say that it has worn out or lost color that, as we all know, wood is absorbent. Therefore, if we leave it with food on it after the meal, it is logical for it to wear out. Also, it cannot lose color because it simply has no color; it is natural solid wood and does not even have a varnish or any chemical finish on it, which is why you can place food directly on the tray without a plate! I clean it immediately after the child's meal with a damp cloth and finally with a little vinegar for disinfection, and I have NO ISSUES AT ALL! So we take care to maintain it
I would not recommend it, my wood frayed very quickly, it is unsuitable for placing food directly on the tray since the color comes off... At first, there was a lot of difficulty in putting in and taking out my little one since she was already 9 kilos, but then we figured it out; now later when she grows even more, I don't know how much she will fit... bad choice for me
Beautiful aesthetically but poor quality lacquer-paint that comes off in various places due to contact with water. Difficult to clean in general because the cushions, as well as the step, come off with disassembly. Mine is not stable, it needs a pad on one leg.
I had read comments that the child doesn't fit to sit and when I got it, I had that in mind. Regarding this, I also faced a problem. To get the child to sit, I need help because he stretches his legs and someone has to bend them for him, because that wood that is in the belly is not convenient, and to take it out, I face the same issue again; someone has to bend his legs. My child is 80cm and 9kg (5 and a half months old). I made some attempts to move the wood that he sits on further back, but still the same. So I completely removed the wood that is in front of his belly to keep him stable, and he is only secured with the belt. I also put a cushion behind him to make it tighter. I wouldn't choose it again. Maybe another company's product would be more convenient than this one. This was my experience.
Regarding the seat that I used daily, I have to say that it is wasted money. The worst thing I have bought. The child slipped and hit the front because I had removed what holds him in the belly since he didn't fit even when he was 5 months old. This is the most wasted money I spent, and I had to buy another seat. I do not recommend it
I don't have any issue with the functionality as I read in the comments, but the table in front has lost its color, it has faded somewhat. I wash it with dish soap or vinegar, I don't know if I did something wrong
We bought this specific high chair with reservations due to the previous negative reviews... I wanted to share our experience because I believe that one star does not represent, in my personal opinion, this particular high chair. First of all, its construction is very sturdy and stable, it is assembled quite easily, it is elegant and discreet (we chose the natural color). The child sits correctly with their whole body, and if you remove the tray, it fit perfectly at our dining table, and now our little son sits with us, something he has been wanting for months. I have to say that our little one is 15 months old, with a height of 82 cm and weighs about 10 and something kg. He fits well in the high chair with the protective bar, and we don't need to remove it for now. If I judge from the experience I had with my older son, when he reaches a point where the bar no longer fits and bothers him, he will be able to sit without it in the chair without needing to be strapped in. So, I don't know why previous reviews were written about it being narrow. It definitely has to do with each child's development, which is why I provided the child's body measurements for each interested parent to judge accordingly. In my opinion, it perfectly meets the feeding needs of a baby from the moment they start sitting on their own until the age recommended by the manufacturers, and it has nothing to envy from other high chairs of the same type and philosophy from another well-known company where you have to pay separately for each part and different accessory to have a complete high chair at the unaffordable (for us) price of 450-500€... This one has everything at its price and is quite a value for money if you take into account all of the above. (We bought this specific one for 82€ and I believe I would buy it again for another child. It also has a 10-year warranty from the company).
Babies cannot fit through the horizontal solid wood that the chair has. And my child is not even chubby, he is thin! The safety belt is terrible. Overall, I am disappointed. Maybe it's suitable for older children, but definitely not for 6-month-old babies
