  It is a commendable product for its price (32 euros in 2020). Its handle has a good grip and the hand does not slip even when wet. Its blade is made of 3.5mm 5CR14 steel, which makes it ideal for tougher tasks such as cutting branches, splitting wood, and butchering meat, but not for gardening tasks like weeding. Moreover, Kukri-style machetes are front-heavy, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage. If you want a machete for gardening or trailblazing, look for bush machetes that are thinner and lighter. Kukri machetes can satisfactorily replace an axe and a knife in survival conditions.
  It comes with a quality sheath that includes a decent emergency sharpener and a basic magnesium for fire starting.

  The cutting of the rods was disappointing... if it can't cut the green rods like butter... what am I going to do with the hard blade... maybe it will cut something harder more easily?
  Out of curiosity, we tried to cut the rods with a Gerber and it almost cut them like cutting butter...
