NEW GENERATION BONDING IMPROVER AND ADDITIVE FOR MORTAR AND CONCRETE

Sika ViscoBond® GR is a concentrated liquid additive designed as a bonding enhancer for cementitious mortars for both interior and exterior applications. It is also designed for use in mortar and concrete as a mass waterproofing agent, flow enhancer, and to offer increased tensile and flexural strengths.

APPROVALS / STANDARDS: Additive for reducing capillary absorbency according to EN 934-2:2009+A1:2012, Declaration of Performance 18122705, and carries the CE marking.

Recommended dosage: In all cases, mix the dry components together and add the solution of Sika ViscoBond® GR with water.

Consumption: The consumption depends on parameters such as the amount of cement and the characteristics of the aggregates:

• As a bonding layer enhancer: 0.10 – 0.16 lt/m2/mm
• As an additive for mortars: 0.3 – 0.6 lt/10 lt
• As an additive for concrete: up to 10% by volume of cement
