The CB-AF PB 10 SX 0.5mcr Atlas Filtri 10" activated carbon water filter is made from solid activated carbon, providing high levels of sediment retention (dirt and suspended particles), pesticides, and chlorine.
The nanofiber (nanofibers) manufacturing technology creates very dense filters that retain particles up to 0.5 μm, while minimally reducing water flow and pressure. Ideal for reverse osmosis systems as well, because its solid structure prevents carbon particle leakage, increasing the membrane's lifespan.
Removes:
Effectively removes chlorine, unpleasant taste, and odor
Removes heavy metals (lead, cadmium). Specializes in the removal of heavy metals

4 stars because I struggled with the gaskets at the top and bottom, they were very hard and the device didn't seal. In the end, I had to use those from the previous filter.
Whatever you need for the 10' cases of Atlas without needing an extra flange (many filters are slightly shorter to fit in many cases). I have it as a medium filter behind the Atlas case 0.3 μm.
Good product but let the faucet run for about 20 minutes, I'm saying a little because I got diarrhea because I didn't let it run for a long time after it completely cleaned everything well
Why didn't I buy it sooner.. unfortunately, local stores didn't have it and we had settled for substitutes, with poor filtration and questionable application, (with some extra rubber bands and tightness) resulting in us using it only for dishwashing and rinsing fruits and vegetables. Drinking was out of the question, we drank with a heavy heart so no! We bought water from outside. Now, this specific one.. day and night difference! From construction, it seems to have small but significant differences compared to the imitations. Initially, a seamless cartridge and easy/perfect application. In terms of water quality, excellent job. The water doesn't smell, its taste has dramatically improved and we drink it with pleasure from the first glass. We fill the bottles 5-5 now! The difference is still noticeable when we turn it to the natural flow, it's as if we're washing.. with chlorine cleanex! Awesome! In conclusion, it doesn't have the same issues as the imitation, we will definitely buy this, maybe we'll try the 0.3 at some point for something extra! Excellent purchase. We are relieved. That's all I have to say
The water now feels very soft and tasty, I cannot have an opinion on bacteria and such unless a 36 euro analysis is done. The price is certified by the American NSF compared to the previous one I had, the highly advertised "Mountain of the 12 Gods" which cost 45 euros and was a monopoly, and it also arrived damaged last time, that's why I decided to change it. Prefer it without fear, 10" CB-AF PB 10SX 0.5 μm, the Atlas, I combined it with an Atlas filter housing for 40 euros. I'm coming back after two days and I have seen a huge difference. The only thing the old filter did was that it didn't smell and I didn't feel the chlorine, but the water was awful. On the other hand, with the Atlas, I can't get enough of drinking water. The taste sensation is amazing, I have never experienced it before. I would pay double the price for it, I just didn't know, it's a shame. Guys, prefer it and you don't need to go for the option of an 80 or 90 euro filter housing that is inox, it's exactly the same as the one for 40 euros, it just has an inox coating on the outside, but it's plastic, just like the regular Atlas. And a filter like the one I'm talking to you about, with 76 euros in total, it's perfect and the most economical!!!! I'm coming back after a few months, I opened the replacement to see exactly what's inside and how much carbon is visible in the photo I posted
Very good filter, I have it for a few days and the difference in water quality is evident. Before, I had a Matrix and the difference is big... it is American and not Chinese, with better build quality, the water is softer and tastier, also the flow is very good. We cannot perceive the rest of the promises, although the water in Athens is drunk differently.
I have been using this specific filter for almost 2 years now (I buy a new one every 6 months or so). I would say that for its price, it is good. It has a satisfactory filtering diameter (0.5 micron), it does not leave any residues or odors, nor any strange tastes in the water.
Amazing filter. It's worth its money. It greatly improved the water quality while with the initial one at 5μm (different brand) it had maintained a slight odor.
Awesome replacement filter.
It provides incredible quality of crystal clear and tasty water.
With the ability to retain heavy metals and lead!!!
It does exactly what it should!!!
Replacement is needed approximately every 4-6 months depending on usage (depending on family members)!!!
Absolutely satisfied with the purchase!!!
Of course, I will continue to buy it!!!!
I trust it for years. It is good. It will show in the future haha.
*Price update: Last year's purchase was two for 59.80, I went to buy two for this year at 72.00.
Next year, if the salary doesn't double, I will have to compromise the quality of the filter choice... The filter is very good, or the price - with the Greek - ideal reality?
Purchase CB-AF PB SX 10" 0.5μm. It was used as the first (and only) filter in an Atlas system. From the first moment, there was a significant difference in pressure compared to the classic Matrikx 5μm, to the point where I thought I had installed it incorrectly or that the Atlas container had trapped air. Neither of the two turned out to be the case. By increasing the pressure reducer to 4 to 4.5 bar, the situation improved slightly, but practically after half a year of use, the faucet barely ran water and it took several minutes to fill a three-liter pitcher. The filter was removed and it was not particularly dirty as there is no mud or other large particles in the area. The filter simply gradually clogged on its own. It is likely that the best use for this specific filter is as a second stage, after some initial 5μm filter. Otherwise, it seems to have a major issue with pressure. I would also like to note that I purchased it for 24 euros, so we can see an increase in price of almost 50% in 2 years.
Very soft water. I have tried several filters and this one gives the most enjoyable water at a good price. The USA version is far superior to the other filters of similar price.
