With a NanoEdge display on all four sides, it features an incredibly narrow 5.7mm frame, offering an impressive 88% screen-to-body ratio for stunning graphics. The ErgoLift hinge design also tilts the keyboard for more comfortable typing.

The only issues I have with the laptop are that I bought a new €60 Razer Kraken Tournament Edition headset and the THX Synapse of the headphones doesn't work (at all) with the laptop's audio drivers, although it works perfectly fine on the desktop. And the other issue is that the remaining battery predictions are not accurate (taking into account that it can vary greatly depending on the brightness, running programs, selected performance mode, but I'm talking about cases where I simply play a movie
My first laptop, but I have experience with computers. I bought it as an extra, to have something portable and for bedtime use.
After 5 days, I have to say that it is a nice little laptop. It is good for simple tasks. If you want it for Word, YouTube, Facebook, and the occasional movie, it is good enough. But that's about it.
If you try to do something heavier, its small processor can't handle it. Luckily, you can upgrade the RAM. Today, I went and bought another 4GB (total of 8) because I was struggling with only 4.
Regarding the screen:
The screen is not bad at all. It has good viewing angles, so you won't have a problem if there are multiple people around. The colors are also good. Maybe I would have liked it a bit brighter, but it's not a problem.
YouTube doesn't lag up to 1440p60 or 4K30.
For movies, don't expect it to handle anything like BlueRay 4K 10bit HDR. It struggles with larger files, like the 40-50GB ones in my movie library. But it has no problem with more normal-sized files.
It does have a bit of backlight bleeding, but you never really notice it. It's not a problem.
Regarding sound:
If you don't have high demands, it is satisfactory. It has some volume, enough to play music while 10 people are talking in the room. In terms of sound quality, it didn't impress me, but I expected worse. The 3.5mm Jack port also works well with headphones with high resistance (like my 47Ω m20x, which sound good at 50%).
Keyboard:
As I said, it's my first laptop, but I haven't found any problems. It has a classic short travel distance, but with enough weight. I rarely press 2 keys at once, but even then, the issue is the distance between the keys. It also has a NumPad, which is nice.
I would have loved it if it had a backlit keyboard, though. Too bad.
Battery:
In the 5 days I've had it, it hasn't left the house, so I don't have much to say. It seems like it's not suitable for travel if you don't have an outlet nearby. I worry about how it will be in 2-3 years.
(edit): Through the pre-installed MyASUS, you can limit the maximum charging percentage to 80% or 60%, which greatly helps with battery life, especially if it's constantly plugged in.
Processor:
The laptop's 1200 cubic centimeters. Just enough to get your work done. Coming from a powerful PC that I have, this seems very weak to me.
But objectively, it is enough for many things. For someone who wants to do video calls, read PDFs, write Word documents, and browse Instagram, YouTube, and movies on Popcorn Time, it's fine. I would recommend spending an extra 20€ for a RAM upgrade. With 8GB RAM, you can do a bit more, like Adobe Lightroom. It doesn't get too hot either, I rarely saw it at 70-80°C (which isn't much). It usually stays at 50-60°C.
For gaming:
I wouldn't recommend it. It handles 2D games well. Maybe some League of Legends or old games to pass the time. I haven't tried it with Minecraft either. Upgrade it to 8GB RAM, and most likely, if you set everything to low, it will play something decently.
(edit): It can handle light games like League of Legends and such. 2D games play well, and even light or old 3D games like Minecraft and Trackmania also play. But you won't be able to play Forza 5, even if you had the space to install it.
Final notes:
You can upgrade 1 RAM slot.
The touchscreen is super nice to have.
WARNING, it doesn't work with styluses with a hard tip. Not suitable for drawing. Only for general use.
I didn't bother with the fingerprint scanner.
It comes with a North America plug and a universal adapter. 45W charging. The type C does not charge the laptop.
It has an m.2 NVMe SSD with 1.6GB/s read, 425MB/s write
