Initially, I thought that this film was not good at all... Because it has a loose weave, compared to other brands, it required a slightly higher pressure than necessary with the soldering iron tip, it would "open up" and not absorb the solder. I thought it was a waste of money and left it aside... However, after a week, I decided to give it another chance. Indeed, after "working" with it a bit, I understood how much pressure I needed to apply and how to apply it in general, and then it proved to be a "gem". Much better even than similar ones, for example, German ones that I have used... It is amazing, whether using flux or not (usually I use it for obvious reasons), even for difficult desoldering (many factory solder joints are quite tough). No problem with both 60/40 and lead-free. I use it extensively since then, and it has proven to be flawless. The fact that it has a looser weave turned out to be an advantage in the end, as personally, I believe that this is a factor that makes it remove the solder so easily. Its price is very competitive compared to other similar products on the market. However, I must admit that it also depends on how each individual "works". Just because a product serves someone well doesn't mean it will serve everyone. Finally, I have used it with K, 1.6D, and 2C tips, but I believe that it will not have any problem with other types as long as one dedicates some time to "learn" it. If this can help, I have used it for desoldering on PCBs of educational kits, on mouse PCBs (switch replacement), and even on more difficult PCBs, such as, in my opinion, the PS4 dualshock controller (its solder joints seemed very tough to me). The soldering iron I used, nothing special, is the Pro.Fi.Con 928 60W with temperature control. I had it set at around 220~230 degrees Celsius, which is where I usually work with it because at higher temperatures, above maybe 250~270 degrees, I have noticed that, for some reason, it damages the pads (It is probably too powerful or its deviation is huge... compared to the temperature you set. Probably the latter). Just to clarify... I am completely amateur in this field, I do it as a hobby because I enjoy it, I am not a professional. So, personally, to conclude, I consider it excellent.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Poor quality welding wire. The weave is weak to almost non-existent and the wire opens with slightly greater pressure than the soldering iron. This affects its ease of use and absorbency. It also does not have a Flux coating and does not absorb the solder unless you dip it in your own flux before use, and even then it does a mediocre job. It did not leave me satisfied and I will not choose it again.

Very good, it does the job, if you add a little flux you can do wonders.
