So here we have a ready-made composition for the immune system. It provides one dose every two capsules (meaning, it has 30 doses, one month's supply, for that price):
50 mg elderberry - elderberry extracts seem to help with infections in general, but 50mg is a negligible amount.
300mg beta glucans from yeast - I don't know enough about these specific ones. It seems to be a good amount.
500mg vitamin C - 500mg is usually the maximum our body can absorb at once, so it is a good amount. Those who use vitamin C can take two or three doses of 500mg throughout the day, for a total of 1-2 grams, in order to maintain high levels. Nevertheless, 500mg alone is a good dose.
10mg zinc - zinc supplements are usually 25mg, even 50mg, but 10mg is a good amount for daily use, avoiding excess. It can also stand as a zinc supplement.
500mcg vitamin B12 - it can also stand as a B12 supplement. The sublingual ones that doctors usually prescribe in cases of deficiency are 1000mcg, so here we have half of that. Which is a very good amount for a composition with various other ingredients.
4000 IU vitamin D3 with vitamin K2 - it has a good amount of vitamin D, either for diagnosed deficiency or in my opinion, for all of us, since with this very important vitamin we don't just want to get out of deficient levels, but also to reach the levels that are most optimal for our body. These levels are usually 40-60 ng/mL. 4000 IU is a good dose for both cases.
These are the ingredients. The verdict? I usually find advertised products to be below average and inadequate. Many times they list various ingredients that, however, contain negligible amounts so that we can see a difference, or they are inorganic forms of low quality, or it is something that we can find at a much better price nearby but we don't know because it is not advertised.
Here, I like the composition, from the perspective that it can stand as a vitamin C, B12, D3 (with K2), and zinc supplement. For example, they could mention vitamin D and we could see by referring to the ingredients that it is a small amount like 800IU. So I judge it positive and honest that it has these amounts.
Will it do something for our immune system as it claims? Yes, definitely. These are the actions of vitamin D, C, and zinc.
It also has selenium and copper at 100% of the recommended daily intake (which is enough).
However, the price for just one month of use is expensive. Individually, we can find the ingredients cheaper, in larger quantities (e.g. 1000mg vitamin C), beyond that here we have the convenience of a composition that someone has prepared for us. So everyone will judge according to their needs.
