The Amazfit GTS 2 is a stylish smartwatch with an aluminum alloy body and a bezel-less curved design, complemented by the crown located on the right.
It is aimed at those looking for a smart watch with multiple health and fitness tracking features. It is suitable for those who engage in exercise or running and want to monitor their heart activity, sleep, steps, and other health parameters.
Additionally, it offers features such as music playback, call, and message notifications.
It incorporates a diamond-like carbon coating (oDLC), which makes it more resistant to scratches and wear, significantly improving the quality and lifespan of the glass.
It is equipped with the high-precision BioTracker 2 PPG tracking sensor for comprehensive health protection. It offers 24-hour precise heart rate monitoring and 12 different Sports Modes.
Blood oxygen saturation levels are one of the most important indicators for the body's oxygen supply. For this reason, the Amazfit GTS 2 incorporates an SpO2 measurement function. Whether you're running a marathon or engaging in intense exercise indoors or outdoors, you can check your blood SpO2 levels at any time, precisely when you start to feel unwell, thus better understanding your body and its endurance.
The PAI score is calculated by processing the data collected by the smartwatch through an algorithm, such as heart rate, exercise time, and other health information. This score provides you with a personalized health assessment, thus giving all users a unique experience.
Activate any of the 90 training functions you need, and once you finish exercising, the watch will create a detailed report to continuously help you improve. The smart recognition of sports modes also helps the watch to directly select the correct function, saving you time and making the watch always ready for use.
The Amazfit GTS 2 is waterproof up to a depth of 50 meters (5ATM). Additionally, it is equipped with a large 246mAh battery that can last 7 days with regular use.
Choose from a wide range of watch faces, so your watch always matches your mood. Thanks to the Always-on Display feature, you can see the watch face of your choice whenever you want, wherever you are.
It supports mobile music playback control through the watch and thanks to the 3GB of music storage, you can transfer 300-600 songs to the watch.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Convenient watch but after swimming in the sea the touchscreen broke and it doesn't hold a charge. While it has a swimming program normally... it’s probably waterproof just if water splashes on it and not if you dive with it for hours
I bought it when it first came out 2 years ago for 189€. In the first year, it was perfect until I went for a swim in the sea that summer. After that, it had issues with the headset when playing music and suddenly the screen would turn off and never turn back on.
After a year, the screen came back on, but it turns off in the cold and when I sweat during exercise. It is now useless as a smartwatch.
Beautiful and practical. Scratches are easily created. The screen stopped working after swimming in the sea. The service declared it out of warranty because there were scratches on the screen that were only visible with a photo and zoom!
I am the owner of iPhone 13. I had the honor band 6 from Huawei and I had connectivity issues. The app had to be open to receive all notifications. Fortunately, this issue has been resolved with the amazfit gts 2. It is worth its money at €82. It has 100% compatibility with iOS, unlike Huawei which has 80%.
The only issue is that it has a long list of apps that can receive notifications. But it doesn't have all of them. They will probably enrich it in a future update.
That's it..
In my opinion, it is an amazing value for money. The build quality is incredible, you have to hold it in your hands to understand, also the screen has very good resolution and colors. The battery lasts as long as the manufacturer claims with regular use. Personally, I had no issues with the connection to the phone or other functions
The battery is expensive, it does what it says and more, it lasts me 8 days with regular use, it is beautiful and it is usually mistaken for an Apple Watch. At 70 euros, it is worth every penny, up to the last euro
Only for battery life it gets four stars... Otherwise it is excellent
Bad, with synchronization problems after 3 months of use now I am in the semester and I want to throw it away. The only positive thing is the battery. Also, I receive calls on the watch every 15 days if it remembers. Steps to count correctly after exercise, no way, it disconnects permanently. The battery is the only thing worth it. Also, even though I take care of it, it has scratches from the first 10 days. Coming from a Samsung Galaxy Watch, the first one I kept for 4 years and worked perfectly, synchronized and had only 1 scratch from my own stupidity, I am disappointed and angry with myself for not spending 20 euros more to go for a Samsung. DISAPPOINTMENT, do not buy it, it's not worth it. Also, something I didn't know is that the watch as a watch has 5 things inside, everything else is in the mobile app, that's why its price is like that. Yes, it's beautiful but it immediately got scratched.
Well... I've had the watch for about a year and I haven't been completely satisfied.
Positives:
Great capacity for songs.
Very aesthetically pleasing.
Very good screen resolution.
No disconnections.
Has a decent speaker for its price.
Negatives:
The microphone is not very good when speaking, especially when there is background noise.
When listening to music, the watch freezes a lot, resulting in static when handling it.
The battery lasts 2-3 days when all functions are turned off.
In conclusion, it's not the best purchase you can make for a smartwatch and it definitely isn't worth the 90 euros I paid for it.
It is a very good watch. It connects very easily, the Bluetooth is excellent, the WiFi is non-existent for some reason and there is nowhere to be found. The battery is so-so, meaning if you have it on for sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring, it drains very quickly, but if you only have it for heart rate monitoring, it's fine and lasts a maximum of 3 days with all the functions. Otherwise, it is a very good smartwatch, but if some features were more improved, it would be amazing
Sometimes, the call recognition doesn't work correctly for me when I receive calls, not always. However, I don't know what could be causing it and making it happen to me.
Good value for money, but it claims to have wifi which doesn't connect anywhere and I don't know why it has it... Sometimes it experiences some connection issues, meaning it suddenly disconnects from Bluetooth, and sometimes the phone doesn't know which microphone to choose, the phone's or the watch's
I have it for a few days and I am quite satisfied, it has not disconnected on me once. I would like a few more features, but the only negative is the battery, it doesn't last very long, it lasts about 3 days and takes 1-30 hours to fully charge
The only positive thing about this specific smartwatch is its appearance.. (I received it as a gift) We didn't get the 3 because I wanted it to be able to make calls from the watch. Generally unacceptable because it constantly loses connection with the phone. When the inclination of the mobile phone wants to hit, it doesn't show you a name, it only writes "hidden" and the number below. While I'm walking, I receive a notification that I've been sitting for too long... Generally, its measurements are almost all wrong. UNACCEPTABLE!
It disconnects every now and then on its own. Maybe the application is to blame. I don't know. What I do know is that I've had the watch for 4 days and on the 3rd day, the microphone broke. The battery doesn't last more than 2 days. The measurements are completely inaccurate. It's not worth its money. There are other cheaper and better options.
It is the same as the GTR 2 but with a square screen.
It has many categories for sports/activities, a nice screen, you can answer calls, read messages, etc! For its price and what it does, it is perfect!
3 stars only for its style, the ability to answer calls from the watch (although it frequently gets out of sync with the phone) and it is very lightweight.
And that's where the positives end. Its measurements are inaccurate and, to be precise, as a pedometer, which was the main reason for my purchase, it doesn't record anything. I go for walks pushing a baby stroller and the watch doesn't record the steps while at the same time my phone, which I have in my bag, does. And we're not talking about a small deviation. At 6000 steps, it had recorded 400. Big fail.
As for the other measurements in sports, I have no opinion as I haven't used them. Only the oximeter and heart rate, which I don't know how accurate they are as I haven't compared them. It is synchronized with Samsung Note 10+.
Somewhat disappointed... it's quite unreliable.
I don't know if it's the redmi note 10 phone, but it often has synchronization issues.
50% of the time the connection is lost, 60% of the time call recognition doesn't work (it shows the number instead of the contact name), and if you mistakenly connect Bluetooth headphones, there's a 70% chance that the connection will be completely lost and a restart will be needed. Other than that, it's sleek, lightweight, and has good durability against falls. The battery lasts 4-7 days depending on usage.
I recently bought it and I am satisfied so far. The only negative (in mine) is that the microphone doesn't work. I am in contact with the company.
It is a very good smartwatch, and it definitely worth its money. It is very beautiful, comfortable, accurate in its measurements to a point (satisfactory) as it is not a medical device. Additionally, the only thing that was not so good is its battery, the manufacturer says it lasts 7 days with regular use while with normal use it will go up to 5 and not more.
I did a lot of market research until I ended up with this watch. I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro phone and I wanted a smartwatch that would accurately track (even though I'm not a sporty person, but I walk 8km daily with my dog), be clear under all lighting conditions, have storage space for music, allow me to answer calls, and not be too big on my wrist. It does it all and it's truly a gem and lightweight. Former owner of Mi Band 3 and 5. Clearly, it is superior. However, the battery obviously lasts less with all these functions enabled. It needs to be charged every 3-4 days, but I'm still trying out various things. I really like the ZEPP app, it provides endless information. I only miss the NFC, but I can live without it. A bit overpriced at €129, which is what it cost me due to shipping, but I believe it's worth the money. I highly recommend it!!!
I will come back in a month when I have a better opinion.
Awesome watch. It does what it says. As a mom who is always on the go, being able to answer calls is super convenient. Its battery lasts a week and charges in an hour. It's worth the money.
I am quite satisfied with the watch. Very good and reliable measurements, beautiful, very good screen. The only negative is its battery. Maximum it can last 5 days with almost all functions enabled. Personally, I am not bothered by its autonomy, I just mention it. Overall, a very good purchase!
The three stars go to whatever is a great and waterproof watch with plenty of applications and nice straps to change if you get bored. BUT, its battery, barely lasts a week (not two that I read from some, not even one and a half, BARELY ONE WEEK).
The watch is perfect.....those of you who mention the battery are not aware.....if you have activated all the functions and expect to have a long battery life, take the candy watch we had as children that you can even eat. I, who have permanently activated the heart rate monitor and only use the other functions when I really need them, such as blood oxygen, stress, etc., my watch lasts for more than 5 days. A friend with an Apple Watch told me that it also lasts that long on battery....now what do you say....if you don't know how to use a smart watch correctly and not just for show, it's your own problem....but not the watch's...
I had the Amazfit GTS and I decided to upgrade to this one since it's the new model.
- Battery life is much worse without having anything special compared to the GTS.
- Notifications don't come through, you have to restart and maybe it will fix it.
- During phone calls, it cuts off the conversation even when I'm 2-3 meters away from the phone.
On the plus side, the design and the screen are good.
The measurements are what they are. The screen is amazing, it is very comfortable to hold and lightweight, but the big problem is that when it disconnects, due to distance or deactivation, it not only does not automatically reconnect, but you have to enable Bluetooth on both the phone and the watch. Sometimes I have to unpair and pair again from the beginning. All this with Samsung s21+. The result is that you can't have your phone in your pocket and be sure if you're receiving a call from the watch.
I got it for my wife and the first impression is excellent. I was looking for something like the gt2 but more girly with the ability to answer calls, and the only thing I found similar was this one.
It is very beautiful and has almost all the features of the gt2. The only thing missing is the ability to make outgoing calls from the watch, but you can live without it.
I was impressed by the fact that the always on display changes with each different watch face. I envy it, I wish the gt2 had it too.
Overall, at 120€ it is an excellent value for money.
