I bought it as a replacement for another one. I also read the other negative comment and got a bit worried because when I first installed it, the closet got stuck and wouldn't open. However, I fixed it afterwards by using a screwdriver to adjust the metal where the key attaches, so it doesn't get stuck and it works fine now.
