Minimize movement and maximize comfort with the ERGO M575 - a wireless trackball with a sculpted ergonomic shape.
Without needing to move your hand to move the cursor, your hand stays relaxed. The smooth and responsive thumb control can be used anywhere, and because it doesn't need to be moved, the ERGO M575 is ideal for tight office spaces.
It connects via Bluetooth or with the USB receiver that comes with the mouse.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I have it for almost a month, and so far I am very satisfied. I bought it mainly because I wanted something more ergonomic since I work 8+ hours on the computer. I went with this model instead of the MX Ergo mainly because of the price, but so far it does its job very well.
I got used to it very quickly, within 1-2 days, I just noticed that it's not suitable for very detailed work (e.g. design, text selection), although over time you might find it suitable for that too.
So far, the only thing I needed to do was clean the trackball and the internal supports of the case because they got filled with dust and the difference was quite noticeable.
+ Proper weight, doesn't move on the desk,
Comfortable grip and easy handling of the trackball,
Software for adjusting the trackball and other buttons.
- The white color is a bit intimidating (but beautiful),
Not easily portable (due to weight and size),
Thumb might hurt with prolonged and intense use.
If anything changes, I will update.
The main problem with it, I had it even in the more expensive version of the ergo mx, is that the left button sticks. I assume the right one does too, but that will take longer to show, due to less frequent use.
In the one I got now, the problem started right away.
From me, it's a no, I'm looking for another trackball
Quite ergonomic. I avoided tendonitis. Nevertheless, it does not have sufficient accuracy for more demanding tasks.
Excellent choice. I have been using it for 2 years for 2D and 3D design and it is flawless. It is comfortable, ideal for a small office (because it is stable) and does not strain the wrist at all. The accuracy for everyday use is more than enough, and I did not encounter any problems in design. However, for gaming, you may need to stick with the classic mouse. It took me 1-2 days to get used to it.
Very good choice for someone who wants a ball track. It is not a classic mouse, so don't get confused. It only works with a ball. I used it for my bike trainer. With a Velcro tape, you can also use it on an incline.
3 stars because I made the stupid mistake of buying it even though it is a stationary mouse, you can't move it like the usual ones and I didn't know that. I tried the trackball.. but it's nothing like a regular mouse - maybe because I'm used to it differently! Anyway, it's definitely not suitable for graphic designers.
If you want a regular mouse that you can move away from it. Otherwise, it looks sturdy and of good quality.
It is the second one I am buying. My previous one lasted exactly 6 years. It had no issues until one day (after 6 years of daily long hours of use) the right click stopped working. What will surprise you is the battery consumption. Without turning it off underneath, the battery lasts about a year.
Extremely comfortable mouse. I have been using it for a few months now. It takes a little time to get used to it (I needed 1-2 days) but afterwards it's incredible. The sound of the buttons is quite low, to the point where it exists, but it doesn't bother you. However, I don't think it would be ideal for gaming or graphic designers, as I don't know how easy it is to use the trackball for very precise movements. For any other use, I highly recommend it 100%.
It took me half a day to get used to it and it is very comfortable. I don't know how much it will help me in image editing, but overall it is an excellent purchase for someone who spends many hours on the computer and does countless tasks like me.
On the first day, it took me over half an hour to get used to it because I have been using the classic mouse for years. I adapted relatively quickly. I had a problem with my wrist and it left me, I highly recommend it and I regret not buying it earlier...
One of the best mice I have ever used for its price. It is comfortable, supports Logitech software, Bluetooth, and connection with a USB receiver, which is included in the package and can be attached to the mouse. Switching between Bluetooth and USB connection is very fast and easy (with a simple switch). It also comes with a battery (I have had it for 1 year and haven't had to change it!). I highly recommend it!
I have had this mouse for a year now. I am a programmer and as you can understand, I spend many hours in front of the computer. I bought it because I had started experiencing wrist pain. Since I bought it, my wrist doesn't bother me anymore. It is so comfortable that I don't think I will ever go back to a regular mouse other than for gaming. I recommend it
Trackball.. Is it more accurate than laser? Do you use it for design work? Do you get used to it quickly? No, no, no. I tried it for the first time because I read the above.. It's not faster, nor for more precise tasks, it's not for design or graphic work, and it will take you a long time to get used to it.
However, it's perfect for the couch-bed-bus because it doesn't need surfaces to work. You put it on your lap and get things done. I don't know if the more expensive Kensington ones work as well in terms of accuracy as laser ones. If you haven't tried a trackball in your life and you want it for serious work, just go for regular ergonomic ones. Unless you have a problem with your wrist, then this will help you a lot, if it doesn't cause any future problems with your thumb.
As a construction quality mouse for €40, it's good. Not more.
Quite ergonomic and easy to use. Very good response, no comparison to classic mice, the cursor goes exactly where you want it to.
