The G248 allows for checking the correct installation and sequence of RJ-45 connector cables and can also check for signal between the two ends of the coaxial cable with BNC connectors.

The test can be performed at two speeds. For cable testing, the Main Testing Device (Tester) should be connected to one end of the cable and the Remote Control to the other. The device's housing is made of durable plastic, ensuring reliability and long-term operation during installations.
