  I bought this specific measuring tool with the goal of ease of use and portability, as it combines a conventional tape measure with a laser measurement system, so that I have everything in one. Its construction is beautiful and sturdy, and its size is satisfactory. Its tape measure is of good quality and is calibrated on both sides, in meters/centimeters (metric system), as well as in feet/inches. If it worked as it should, everything would be ideal and it would receive 5 stars. However, unfortunately, in the tool that I received, the electronic (laser) part never worked correctly. After almost every measurement attempt, it displayed various error codes (mainly "Err 255", but also some others). Only once did it manage to measure and it showed a clearly incorrect measurement. I tried it in a sufficiently lit indoor space, with light-colored walls painted with plastic paint (like in a typical house), so the measurement conditions were ideal. I believe that I simply received a defective product, so I don't want to give it a star rating. If you wish to purchase it, I suggest doing so through Skroutz, so that the return process is guaranteed, easy, and fast, in case it doesn't work correctly. That's what I did and I have already returned it.
