Quality grinder. It cuts quickly and quietly with good consistency. It is NOT good for espresso. Even at the finest setting, I get unsatisfactory (very fast) extraction times with a regular basket (non-pressurized). I would expect a 100 euro machine to grind well for espresso (even if it doesn't have many settings). I will open it up to see if I can adjust the blades a bit closer, but note that out of the box... it doesn't...
If you want to grind for an espresso machine with a pressurized basket, then you will probably be okay.
For filter coffee or French press, it is super!
Well, quick update: I finally managed to adjust it and now it works fine for both espresso and Greek coffee. The adjustment is very simple and you don't even need to open the inside of the machine (and void the warranty). However, note that even then, the settings suitable for espresso will be limited to 1-2, so it doesn't leave much room for experimentation. If you want to get serious, get a grinder specifically recommended for espresso.
I have written the process (with photos) on greekespresso.gr: [link]
The 4-star rating remains because I had to make adjustments for it to work as I wanted
Everything was fine and nice until it started cutting on its own. It starts whenever it wants. If you're not home to unplug it, it starts grinding continuously until it's empty. I thought it was my socket's fault, but others have experienced the same issue. I regret buying it. I would have preferred to pay more money but have it cut whenever I want, instead of being woken up in the middle of the night by the noise because it started on its own.
Very good grinder. I always have freshly ground coffee. Strong blades that grind the beans in seconds. Good construction, easy to use and clean.
I don't know why all these negative comments???? I have had it for over a year and it has not given me the slightest problem!!!!! It has a little inconvenience in cleaning! compared to the ground coffee of the supermarket ten times better.
For me, who has a pressurized machine, it works perfectly at the finest setting. With 100% arabica single origin coffees, I have understood what flavor means, with the help of this grinder.
Of course, you understand that for €100, you cannot expect professional grinding or coffee grinding levels, but I am personally completely satisfied with both the grinding results and the build quality.
As for users who have it and complain that it turns on and grinds by itself, every time I left it plugged in, I did not hear any automatic start, but mainly I have it unplugged when not in use, so that even the minimal energy it needs to be on standby is saved.
It did not last even 1 year. At some point, within the 11 months, it stopped grinding the coffee and because it was still under warranty, we took it to the dealership. Besides the fact that the wait time is very long, they told us they changed the blades and it became new. As soon as we received it, we put coffee to grind and it didn't grind even the minimum amount that it used to grind before we took it. We contacted them and they told us they can't do anything else. The conclusions are yours.
It is true what the previous reviewers say. It doesn't grind too fine. I took it to the dealership and they installed a flange for FREE and it grinds perfectly!!! (A thousand thank yous)
Up to the 2nd setting it becomes powder (depending on the coffee of course, I didn't need to go lower)
A very good grinder for its price, I highly recommend it.
I bought it for espresso grinding and I regret it. With the finest grind (at setting 1, that is), it is not suitable even for factory pressurized baskets. So far, I haven't ground any other type of coffee (I will try French press at some point). As for the addition of a gasket, yes, it does improve the espresso grind a lot BUT! it makes a lot of noise and something tells me that the blades are touching the fixed cutting parts. Therefore, as it comes from the factory, it is NOT suitable for espresso. If you intervene by adding the gasket (or gaskets if you add two), then yes, it works for espresso but at your own risk for any damage to the cutting parts (which I believe is NOT covered by the warranty). It also has a large retention which can be solved if you gently tap the side with your hand where the dosing button is until the remaining coffee falls out
It is not suitable for espresso. For the finest grind, you need to use more than 10g per serving to achieve satisfactory coffee. If you want it for French press or moka, it is good.
He grinds on his own when you're not around... I was very satisfied until he started taking initiatives...
I have had the grinder for 1 month, it is perfect, the construction is very good, and because I have heard that it does not grind the espresso too fine on some well-known forums that criticize everything, this is not true, it grinds very well for its price, not everyone can afford a grinder of 1000 euros. Get it without fear, you will see a big difference in the coffee even with the cheapest machine. I have a Gaggia Viva Deluxe and it makes perfect coffee for me. If you can, change the filter without pressure for even better results
I would like the coffee to be ground a bit finer, but with a small adjustment, it can be done.
Update 11/22 The grinder is not suitable for espresso, you will never get the right taste of coffee. If someone has an espresso machine worth 60-100€ and just wants to have a coffee, it's okay
Hello coffee lovers, the grinder is very reliable, it has good construction, grinds uniformly, and most importantly, it is quiet. Also, for its price, it is very good. I highly recommend it only for home use.

It does not grind coffee finely enough, it needs modification to reach a satisfactory level
It cannot produce fine grinding for espresso users.
It is not suitable for espresso. Even with the grind size I used, it does not grind enough.
