The Varta is a guarantee, no matter how expensive it may seem compared to the simple competition. The product is of excellent quality, the front screen informs you about the charging percentages for each battery separately (except when charging something through the rear USB port). Also, very helpful is the rear USB port which essentially allows you to have a fast charger for mobile or 5V devices.

The surprise was that it charged much faster than stated. It is also important that you can charge as many batteries as you want and not just "pairs" like most other competitors.

It is worth its money for those who have continuous recharging needs (mice, remote controls, etc.). Everywhere around us, there are devices with needs that this device covers and more.

Very good - quality construction, the charging indicators are extremely informative. It's a bit bulky but it accommodates many battery sizes, so it's acceptable.

01.03.2022: I am coming back as after several uses I found out that it doesn't charge well... Initially, I assumed that the batteries were worn out, but even with two AA Varta batteries of 1600 mAh that I bought, it says it charges them to 100%, but if you remove them and put them back, the indicator shows 75%. I let it go to 100%, repeat the process, and it shows 75% again. I did this 4-5 times, the same thing happens. Then I take it and put the battery in an electric wall clock and after 4-5 days, I put it back in the charger and the indicator says 5%. It's difficult for an AA battery to discharge in a watch within 5-6 days. Normally, it should last for a few months! So it probably wasn't charged. Something is not right...

  From the first use, it did not charge the batteries to 100%. Within 2 weeks and with 4-5 charging cycles, it short-circuited, blew the fuse, and the charger burned.

  I got it the day before yesterday, so I will update more thoroughly in the future... So far, no problems, it just charges 4 batteries at a time and one 9V only. (I didn't realize that from the title). It has 4 indicators for the percentage of each battery respectively and the 9V separately (if it is connected, it lights up as far as I understood, just that, so far I don't have that specific one, so we'll see in the future). Personally, I will also get the other device that charges 8 AAA or AA simultaneously because they are more commonly used in general. In conclusion, I am satisfied, I hope this is the last time I buy disposable batteries... Very good, but I use the other one with a capacity of 8 AAA or AA more often
