It is not suitable for clothes unless the fabric is tough. In the first photo, you can see how it ruined my outfit. In the other one, you can see how I restored the outfit with a disposable razor. If you want to remove lint from clothes, even in soft fabrics, use a razor.
This specific lint remover does an excellent job on sofas, blankets, rugs, etc.
I give it 5 stars because my sofas and covers finally look great.

It destroys clothes as it gets caught in the seam, in fibers or even if they don't exist, it simply tears them apart as it is metallic and has small teeth to supposedly collect the hairs. I even tried it on the couch and stopped to avoid damaging it. I went back to the classic solution of the adhesive lint roller. The most wasted 10 euros I have ever spent.

I think this particular type is a must for several surfaces. Just because it is quite strong, I appreciate that it "damages" specific fabrics or at least collects traces from what it scrubs. For scratching posts, let's say it is necessary or for carpets.

It removes pet hair, as well as all the fuzz from carpets and velvet fabrics from sofas, throws, and pillows. It requires very gentle movements on the seams so as not to tear them. The gold roller SHOULD NOT TURN!!!! It needs to be stable to do its job. I am attaching photos before cleaning the carpet in my pet's room and after cleaning a strip of it with just one pass of the tool. Because it destroyed the handle, my puppy just ordered two more. You will love it.

However, there is a small detail: it doesn't work for all fabrics. It doesn't work for fabrics with pile and it doesn't work for clothing fabrics that are more delicate. It works for upholstery fabrics and for their cushions and beds. On some chairs with stained fabric that had become a mess from hair, it even removed the surface dirt and made them almost like new.
