Good evening, I want to buy this specific coffee maker. From what I read in the comments, it satisfies me. What I want to ask is if the coffee you will manage to make after many experiments will be okay for Freddo espresso or is it good only as espresso (hot), as what I want is to stop getting Freddo espresso from outside. Will I succeed or will it be Freddo espresso that you drink with difficulty? Thank you
I have had it for two years and something.. I literally drink its blood, I make 6-7 freddos a day and it hasn't made a peep, not even a little. Of course, I do descaling and cleaning of the grinder very often so that the coffee doesn't get spoiled.. I only order quality bean varieties and now I can't drink from anywhere outside.. if something ever happens to it, I will definitely buy the same one again

Coming from an automatic Krups, I found my health with this one. The previous one I had sent for repairs 3 times. With this one, whatever breaks I can change myself, there are spare parts, the good thing is that you can clean it yourself. Once a month I open it from the side door and with a sponge I remove any coffee that has fallen and everything is fine. After a month, maybe little worms will form. I don't want to imagine what the previous one could have had after 2 years of use.
We saw the true light. It is good - very good.
For me, however, after a long time and many trials, a very good coffee plays a more important role than the coffee maker.
Experiment with the coffees, buy more expensive better coffee even if your coffee maker is not the best.

Setting the grinder to the finest grind and coffee intensity, I am at 2 and my partner at 3, we have settled down!
A gem on the counter, quick to clean with a good result without searching (yet) for any special variety. We use Illy beans and I believe that with a slightly more refined variety the result would be several classes superior.
I have no opinion on the milk frother, as we have a frothing machine.
By far one of the worst choices, the board broke in less than a year and because I have moved abroad the warranty did not cover me and now in less than the second year the machine broke again.
Purchased on 05/24, making about 6 espressos daily, which is the maximum (400mg) allowable amount that an adult can consume, considering that 65mg is the average caffeine content in each dose. Choosing single-origin Arabica Guatemala beans, the result is extremely satisfactory. I would prefer a slightly finer grind of the coffee for the perfect result. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, at the end of the day, I clean the tray that collects the water and any residue from the spills. Descaling is a process that is done very easily following the provided instructions. I now rarely buy coffee outside and consider it one of the best value for money machines.
I expected it to be better in terms of the intensity of the coffee flavor. The automatic grinding does not grind the beans sufficiently, resulting in the coffee not being strong enough. The option to use pre-ground coffee it has offers a better taste result. I have not yet tried other beans apart from Buondi Gold & Prestige.

I have had it for a year. I am very satisfied. It is easy. fast, and makes very good coffee. The only time-consuming process is finding good coffee, as mentioned by another owner above, don't look in famous or supermarket brands, it's a waste of time, you will never drink good coffee. Find a small good coffee shop. Coffee from outside is over. Also, for a year now, it hasn't given me any trouble at all. It's worth buying. I will come back.
"Attention" do not leave the grinder empty. It must always be covered with coffee. It helps a lot with the grinding and in achieving the best extraction, quality, and taste of the coffee.
It is a very good automatic espresso machine!
Purchased for the office 2 weeks ago and makes an average of 6-12 coffees per day. Very easy and simple to use and maintain. With the right variety of coffee and the appropriate settings, it produces very satisfactory results. With coffee beans purchased from the take away we pass by so far, the result was almost equivalent, with the setting on the highest coffee grind (1/5) and full intensity of flavor/quantity of coffee (3/3).
Overall, for the money it was purchased (300€) it is very honest, and although most of it is plastic, it shows quality construction. At startup, it takes 1 minute to self-clean and as you can see in the video, it is immediately ready for use and requires minimal time to warm up, grind and make the coffee. It is also not particularly noisy, neither in the grinder nor during preparation.

If someone asked me if it makes the best coffee I've ever had, I would definitely say no ...

Forget the famous coffee brands and look for freshly roasted coffee from small roasters, whose coffee is definitely of higher quality and aromatic. Personally, I prefer Guatemala varieties ...
Now I will only buy coffee outside in case of need and not with pleasure because I know it will not be as nice as at home.
As for the ease of production, here the machine gets excellent as you simply press a button and the espresso drips ... I have programmed the top button for 13 seconds while the bottom one for 18 ...
The amount of coffee is always the same, so depending on whether I want a double dose or a lighter one, I press accordingly ...
Finally, the machine is beautiful and relatively easy to clean and descale. Also, when I cleaned it from the inside one day, I saw a label and it said Made in Italy ... I think that's important.
For anyone who has the money, I highly recommend it, it is a great purchase
I have been using it for 6 months. It does not make coffee like the professional ones in any case. For convenience, if you do not have high expectations from your coffee, it is ok.
I was looking for a long time what automatic machine to get because I was tired of making bad coffee for everyone with a semi-automatic one I had. From the reviews I chose this one. It is excellent and finally I stopped buying coffee from outside. It takes some trials to find the blend you want and this was it. Easy to use and easy to clean.
I have been using it for 2 months now (4-5 coffees per day).
It has solved my hands, I just fill it with water when needed and empty the basket.
The coffee it produces is better than many stores out there.
Due to the area and water hardness, I chose to use the water filter as well.
As for the quality-price ratio; I happened to try coffee (espresso, freddo espresso) from automatic machines that cost 1000+€ and the difference does not justify the price.
I highly recommend it.
A simple, reliable, beautiful, compact coffee maker. I use it only for espresso, as I have a milk frother device. It doesn't have as many settings as newer models, but the coffee it produces is very good. I rarely buy coffee from outside anymore. I recommend performing descaling more frequently than the machine suggests.

I did market research for automatic espresso machines Phillips, delonghi, krups...... I think Brera is Top for home, I also bought it for 330€...... The only thing that gave me a little trouble at the beginning when I put it in cleaning was when I opened it (descaling programming).
Something else that impressed me is that it washes itself at the beginning and when you close it. The group needs rinsing, in general it is an easy and very high-quality machine!!!!! Luckily there are still a few pieces available
MY NERVES ARE SHATTERED. Can someone help who knows how to adjust this machine.... because the coffee comes out watery no matter which possible option I try, even with the adjustable apple set to the highest.
Finishing the first kilo of coffee, I consider it to be one of the best and simply beautiful machines that one can buy for this money. Its cleaning is relatively easy, access to water and coffee disposal is also easy, and its maintenance as a coffee maker I consider relatively easy and you don't spend much time on it. Experiment with different types of coffee such as cappuccino or Americano, which I love! I definitely recommend it!!!

It's perfect, I have been saved... the best thing to escape from expensive capsules with zero quality. I searched for 2 months with coffee machines, to see where I would end up, in automatic or semi-automatic. After reading the reviews and watching the reviews on YouTube, I decided to get it and I didn't regret it at all!! It's very easy to use and makes proper froth if you know how to handle it. With a good quality grinder, it surpasses even the coffee from outside! I have already recovered the cost from the coffees I drink. I paired it with black bart blends and it's simply amazing... I don't feel the need to buy coffee outside!
I love it, it makes fantastic coffee very easily. We have had it for about two years and when someone takes care of it (descaling, cleaning, etc.), they fully enjoy its benefits. It cannot be compared to any other coffee maker. Buy it with your eyes closed.

The 5th coffee convinced me that our relationship will depend on the endurance we will have between us.
With a glance I took inside it, I have the opinion that:
1) We will have a two-way and slightly romantic relationship. It will serve me if I meet its needs.
2) I will be the only one to make coffee and maintenance because who else will bother to learn its tricks. If I'm not around, they can drink Greek coffee.
3) But if you like the screwdriver a little like me, then you will make a good company.
In conclusion, if you like coffee to have something from you, buy it. Otherwise, DOLCE GUSTO.

I have had the machine for about 8 years. It has never needed service, only descaling at the intervals it notifies. It is very important not to delay descaling when the machine requests it, as the water passes through thin tubes that go through a thermoblock to heat the water, making them vulnerable to clogging from limescale (all machines with thermoblock have this sensitivity, even machines in the 1000+ euro semi-professional category). It makes very good coffee; however, one downside of the coffee maker is the limited grind size options, which I personally would prefer to be a bit finer for the ideal extraction.
My settings are: the grinder at the finest setting, the extraction button set to 12-13 seconds of flow (including the pre-infusion that the machine does), and it extracts about 22g of coffee drink (at 3 beans, the coffee maker grinds 10.5g of coffee, so for the ideal espresso ratio of 1 to 2, the ideal extraction is ~21g of coffee in under 15 seconds). With these settings, the coffee maker makes excellent coffee, far better than any capsule or automatic machine in the budget under 500 euros.
Regarding the milk froth... with the accessory on the steam wand, I have never produced decent milk froth; however, by removing it and leaving just the steam wand/tube, the machine can make quite good milk froth for cappuccino and latte (but of course, since it is done manually, it requires a bit of effort and focus on the frothing of the milk in the pitcher to get it right). However, there is also another wand from Gaggia (the Gaggia Latte Art Pannarello Wand for 10 euros) that helps for better milk froth than the stock wand in case we are trying with the relatively automatic adapter, or in the case of manual operation, it acts as an extension of the wand that comes out of the coffee maker to facilitate the whole process) - I found it via Google in a Greek store since none of the partnered stores with Skroutz have it. Also, for those who do not know, for good hot milk froth, full-fat milk is recommended, and it should be cold from the fridge to allow it to be enriched with micro-bubbles before it reaches the temperature of 65 degrees that it should "come out."
Finally, I would like to mention 2 flaws of the machine:
1) It would be good to place a tray under the machine as it can occasionally drip coffee from underneath that "licks" and escapes the drip tray (everyone I know with this machine has the same problem, which is minor, don’t imagine water glasses running), resulting in staining the countertop.
2) During the coffee grinding process and the disposal of the puck after extraction, coffee grounds scatter inside the extraction mechanism area, which is removable; however, it requires frequent rinsing and cleaning - maximum every 2-3 weeks to avoid coffee grounds inside the mechanism that, if not rinsed, can mold due to the moisture there).
Anyone who is diligent with the machine will not have a problem.
When asked if I would buy this machine again, I would do it with my eyes closed and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to drink good and quality espresso easily and quickly.
