These bulbs are an excellent combination of brightness and lifespan. In the H4 version, they have a light color of 3600K, a lumen output of 1650+/-15%, and a maximum lifespan of 540 hours. In conclusion: in a properly adjusted and clean parabolic reflector (classic headlights), they will satisfy even the most demanding users who use halogen bulbs in their cars. Halogen bulbs do not perform as well in elliptical reflectors (projectors in Greek). The bulbs are legal and there is no risk of dazzling fines (ranging from 200-700 euros in the new Traffic Code) or being left without insurance coverage after an accident.
By measuring their light intensity with a photometer, you will find that they are much brighter than factory Long Life bulbs. In the H4 version, both the medium and high beams are located within the same crystal and never turn on together. In the medium beam, the illumination is excellent within the limits that your headlight can provide. Do not expect to see further. The light beam is specific. Only if you adjust your headlight higher will you see further, but this can be done with any bulb. Simply put, everything is brighter within this framework. The color is wonderful (neither yellow nor white, approximately 3400K) with very good color rendering. With the high beam, you will finally see further than with a regular bulb. The bulbs perform excellently up to 90+ meters. The color is whiter this time, 3600K+. It will satisfy those who prefer whiter lights. Subjectively, I consider the medium beam to be excellent and the high beam to be very good, but I would like it to be slightly "yellower" to have better color rendering. For even better illumination, Philips offers the Racing Vision GT200 with a maximum lifespan of 400 hours, all other characteristics in common, and a performance of over 100 meters in the high beam. For those who consider these bulbs to be "candles" and want to stay within legal limits, you should consider the LED Ultinon Pro 6100 and Ultinon Pro 9100 series, but their purchase costs are 10 to 12 times higher when considering can bus and adapters. Their lifespan is 5.5 to 9.25 times longer respectively, and the light beam in the high beam reaches around 200 meters. The car I use them on has common parabolic reflectors with an H4 bulb, and I cannot compare the illumination of halogen bulbs to that of factory xenon or factory LED bulbs. I only mentioned Philips, but there are other brands as well. The choice is yours. The above are personal assessments.
The worst thing I have ever bought! It's better to throw two fireflies at each traffic light, you'll see better that way! It should have said -150%
I have been buying these for years; they are not as strong as the description suggests. +150 brightness, what does that mean and how they come up with that number, I don't understand. The intensity drops after the first 7 months, and the €20 they ask for is quite a lot, I think. You can get cheaper branded ones for €15 that have the same performance. Of course, compared to the mechanics who ask for €35 for these to change a bulb as if it's rocket science, €20 is reasonable. Personally, I will not buy them again; next time I will look for something cheaper and of better quality or LED and branded at a reasonable price.
The 3700K is a yellow color.
It illuminates moderately, suitable for non-demanding individuals.
I will come back in the future to see how long it lasted for me
White light but very weak. No resemblance to the description. Waste of money!
6/4/23........I see that my comment applies to all H4 Philips, while it only concerns the white vision 4200
In a 2010 Fiat Grande Punto, I installed these lights a year and a half ago. They have a very good beam of light and actually provide more intensity than the factory lights. They don't blind oncoming drivers, and I can see comfortably in the countryside, even when I have the fog lights on at the same time. It's like having a party. However, they don't last very long. After a year and a half of daily use for commuting to work, one light went out, and then another one a week later. I had to buy them again.
Normally, I wanted to give it 4.5 stars but it's not possible, so 4 stars. The only drawback is their short duration, a little longer than the racing ones (about 18 months) and a little less light. The car is a Peugeot 107.
Excellent light for a halogen lamp.
It is whiter than the factory yellow ones and has greater intensity.
Certainly not comparable to xenon, neither in intensity nor in color.
I would say that they are 3700-3800k, I bought them for 4000k daylight but they are not! Nevertheless, they do have very good light!
Definitely brighter than regular halogen bulbs, but don't be fooled by the packaging, THEY ARE NOT WHITE. I was deceived by the packaging. They are slightly more intense (thus cooler) but still remain WARM. I was fooled, what can I say now....
In a Suzuki Burgman scooter, I had regular halogen lights and I installed some Chinese Nighteve LED lights. They didn't last even a week and I switched back to halogen lights and these ones here, they are excellent with strong light (I would like a little more and whiter). However, compared to LED lights which still look nicer with white light, it's like day and night. Now I have proper lights, with a normal large scale, I had forgotten about it with the LED ones.
I have been using them for 2 weeks (with a mirror) they have a stronger light than regular halogen bulbs, you notice it immediately. Of course, don't expect to turn night into day (that's what I expected), but it is a pretty good bulb, at a good price from a reliable company like Philips, I recommend it 5/5
--- For very good light you should buy Led bulbs: Narva or Philips (65 to 75 euros)
** 2nd 2023, no bulb has burned out, a very pleasant surprise, now 2 years.
** 4th 2024 they still work, I don't know if it's just me but they last a long time.
They are worse than the previous generation, I really didn't expect them to have lower brightness intensity, wasted money.
Significantly brighter light than regular bulbs, however don't expect miracles. Very good for their price. 1 year and 2 months after installation, they burned out.
They were installed in a Fiat Panda 2007 with a mirror. Much stronger white lighting with greater dispersion compared to the factory Osram bulbs they replaced. The only thing left is to prove their durability over time
Change in first installation bulbs. I changed the first one and the light was hitting a white wall. The old one had no relation in shade and power. First impression excellent
I have it on my motorcycle for 1 year.
It has more intensity than the regular bulb.
It has very good light quality.
However, my issue is that I want 6000K to appear white to the eye, while this one is slightly yellow.
The other halogen bulbs, such as Diamond or Crystal Vision, do not have such strong light.
Especially Diamond, which has the blue reflection on the outside, may look nice to the eye, but it doesn't have any light on the road.
In terms of halogen bulbs, this one is the best in intensity
The bulbs are quite bright as promised. They have a standard size and design, so their installation is easy.
Very good, big difference from the previous ones, simple... white light towards warm... installation on Suzuki Jimny
(Update 2022) Recently purchased to make a small upgrade to my motorcycle's light. Compared to the regular halogen bulb it had, there is a noticeable difference in both the whiteness of the light and its intensity, around 30% in reality. Probably the only way to achieve a significant difference in intensity, but mainly in the whiteness of the light, is to use LED bulbs. Three years after the purchase, the bulb is still functioning properly, but I want to make another upgrade with the Osram Night Breaker 200 H4, also a halogen bulb, because the cost for LED is still prohibitive!
Really much better than the factory ones both in performance - very clear light with a color between warm and cool white leaning towards warm - and in lifespan, with the difference from the factory ones being noticeable from the first journey. Ultimately, driving becomes more relaxed. I highly recommend them without hesitation.
Great difference in brightness compared to the factory ones and a lifespan of over 400 hours. They have a color between white and yellow. After 2 years of intense use, they have slightly yellowed with a slight decrease in brightness intensity. I bought them for €15 for H7.

Perfect lights for my car

Very good quality.
Unfortunately, one of the bulbs gave out after 6 months.

Very high performance, but they burned out within a few months.

I expected a brighter light. Next time I will try different bulbs

One word. Super lamp
Lifespan is about 1 year. Both bulbs burned out with a difference of 10-15 days between them.
I had them for 2 years on a scooter, completely satisfied, until the +150% ones came
