With the Mi Smart Home Hub you can smartly control your home appliances in your space!
The Mi Smart Home Hub is a Smart Home control center that can connect with smart devices using Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and Bluetooth. The hub and other devices can be freely combined into a flexible and diverse system to achieve remote control for smartphones and smart home devices.
With the Mi Smart Home Hub you can control your home devices. For example, it can turn on the light when you open the door, turn off devices when you leave the house, or even notify you if it detects an event.
Through the "Mi Home / Xiaomi Home" app, which you can find and install on all compatible stores, you will have control of your devices with the help of the Mi Smart Home Hub.
The Smart Hub is a device that serves as a central control point for your smart home devices. It typically connects to the internet and uses wireless communication protocols, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee, to communicate with other smart devices, such as smart lights, thermostats, security cameras, and more.
The smart hub can be controlled via a smartphone app, a web interface, or even through voice commands using a virtual assistant like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. It can also automate actions based on user preferences, such as turning on the lights when someone enters a room or adjusting the thermostat according to the time of day.
One of the advantages of using it is that it allows for easier control and automation of multiple devices from a single interface.
Overall, a Smart Hub can help simplify the management of a "smart home" and enhance the user experience.
Remote Control: With the smart hub, you can control your smart home remotely using your mobile phone or computer. This allows you to manage your home even when you are not there.
Energy Saving: The smart hub can coordinate your devices and help save energy. For example, it can control your smart lights and turn them off automatically when they are not needed.
Automation: Automation is a key factor in the operation of a smart home, and smart hub devices significantly contribute to the creation of automations. This may include creating automatic rules for turning devices on and off, adjusting the home's temperature, setting lighting, and much more. Automation helps you save time, reduce energy costs, and make your life easier. A smart hub can facilitate the creation of automations in your smart home, as it acts as a central controller for your various devices. It can connect your devices and coordinate their functions using built-in sensors and other technologies. It can also work with other smart home systems, such as the smart lock or smart camera.
A smart hub is a device that connects multiple smart devices in your home and allows you to control them from a central location. Some of the advantages include:
Convenience: You can control many smart devices from a central point, such as a smartphone or tablet, making your life easier.
Time-saving: You can control multiple devices simultaneously and schedule various actions, such as automatic temperature control in your home, allowing you to save time.
Increased security: With the smart hub, you can monitor your security cameras and alarm devices, enabling you to enhance the security of your home.
Cost-saving: With the ability to control lighting and thermostats remotely, you can save money on your bills.
Compatibility: Ensure that the smart hub you choose is compatible with the devices you have in your home. Check the specifications of the smart hub and make sure it supports your devices.
Platform: Make sure that the smart hub supports the software platform you wish to use. Some smart hubs use different platforms, so ensure you have the correct platform for the smart hub you want to purchase.
Security: Ensure that the smart hub you choose has good security practices and has been updated for the latest security threats. Smart hubs are connected to the internet and can be a target for malicious attackers.
Features: Make sure that the smart hub you choose has all the functions you need.
Bluetooth: Connects with smart devices via Bluetooth and has a range of approximately 10 meters.
Wi-Fi: Connects with smart devices via Wi-Fi network. Supported by smartphone.

For anyone struggling to connect the device to wifi. After 3 days of trying with various wifi access points, changing names and mobiles, I realized that the smart hub fails to connect if you have disabled tkip in the wifi settings.
I bought it to connect some other Xiaomi accessories that I have purchased (smart plug, thermometers, etc.). Although I already changed it once, thinking that I was unlucky with the initial Hub, ultimately the second Hub continued to disconnect repeatedly and WITHOUT reason. To save my mental peace, I eventually returned it. Stay away.....
Very good for Xiaomi devices. I have connected many devices and it works perfectly. It notifies you if it loses connection or is generally offline (e.g. power outage).
If you want to connect ZigBee or Bluetooth devices to Xiaomi Home, this is the only solution. It only connects Xiaomi Mi devices, not Aqara or IKEA.
Currently, there is the 2nd version, so it's better to get the newer version.
I would give it 4-5 stars for as long as it worked, but my experience with it lasted less than 24 hours. The same night I bought it, it stopped working, as it now only turns on a yellow light that turns blue after a few seconds but does nothing else. It no longer connects to the internet, doesn't connect to my phone, doesn't connect to Xiaomi thermometers, and can't be reset even with a 10-second long press or 10 taps that theoretically only reset the WiFi. It practically does nothing, it's either for return or throwing away. I will get another BLE gateway, but definitely not Xiaomi.
Average, construction quality is decreasing, I had to buy 2 in order to connect the xiaomi buttons and xiaomi sensors. It connects very easily and quickly. Its range is relatively ok. The response to the sensors and buttons is fast as long as they are at a good distance from the hub
It connects with Bridge cameras, etc. but it does not perform automations, you need to get another hub where the app will recognize it, if it is compatible if it is in China Singapore area... it still needs work
4 stars because when there is a power outage, it loses the devices and you have to reset them one by one for them to work properly... The problem was solved as soon as I put it on the UPS.
Generally, through Xiaomi Home, automations either don't work often or are very slow due to Xiaomi servers, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Now I use it for Home Assistant as a Zigbee adapter through ZHA with AlexxIT's integration on GitHub, and it has also been tested as a zigbee2mqtt adapter with AlexxIT's integration. I have 13 connected zigbee devices, and it also controls supported Bluetooth devices, such as the Mi Temperature and Humidity Monitor 2. It is quite reliable, as long as the 2.4GHz channel on WiFi is not congested. I had tried the SONOFF CC2531 and it was terrible, with a small range of only 5-6 devices and frequent restarts.
Connected with 8 door/window sensors, 4 motion sensors, and 2 thermometers. Works flawlessly, without any disconnections. With the Aqara m1s hub, set up to connect to the mi home app, I have more options for notifications and alarms in terms of sound. Perfect.
For the past 3 days, I haven't been able to connect it to the application. It shows that it detects the wireless network but it doesn't proceed to the 3rd stage of the connection with the mi home application. In the end, it was the router's fault. With a change, it connected directly!
Reading the reviews and comments about disconnects, I want to share my experience because I believe it will help some people.
The hub connected instantly and very easily with the devices, and for now it is connected to 14 Bluetooth devices and works flawlessly. In some instances, I also noticed some disconnects, and after many tests (power supply strength, interference from the router, etc.), I found that if the bandwidth of the line is occupied by other services (downloading/streaming) and there is no available bandwidth, it can lead to disconnects because the hub cannot communicate with the Xiaomi cloud.
For those who experience disconnects, check if something like this is causing it.
Although it is mentioned as compatible with HomeKit, it is not clear anywhere which child devices it supports in Apple's home. The reality is that it only displays Zigbee devices in HomeKit and not Bluetooth devices. As a result, Bluetooth devices only work through the Xiaomi application. However, the response is immediate and without problems for Zigbee devices (Xiaomi door and window, motion sensors, wireless switch). If it stated that it is only compatible with HomeKit for Zigbee devices, I would give it a 5/5, but because I spent and learned, I rate it 3/5
You will find it incredibly difficult to connect the hub to the network - and when you finally manage to do it after about 30 attempts and go to sleep peacefully, you will wake up the next morning and it will have disconnected - there are many complaints online - unfortunately, I hadn't read them before buying it - stay away from Xiaomi in this particular category of gadgets
It works fine for me so far, it doesn't disconnect like some people claim. I don't know, maybe I was lucky. It does the job for its price. I have many peripherals from Xiaomi, so it's perfect. I recommend it if you are a fan of Xiaomi.
It works fine, without any problems with the door sensors. Since I had plugs and cameras before, I don't understand how they are connected to the hub. I mean, in the mi home app, the cameras and plugs were already there, and everything works fine, but do I need to do something like reinstalling from scratch so that everything works through the Hub?
In a few words..
1 star because it is one of the very few Xiaomi products that I would not want to belong to the brand.
Many disconnections.
I bought it to replace a Chinese kit. I wanted to transfer the traps to go to a European server but it's not worth it.
For those who have similar concerns, try checking out the app in the video description of a well-known video platform ("you tube" ;) )
With the title "region free mihome - unlocked app!"
Simply, the reliability of the application is a small risk if you want to get it since it is not the official application.
Small in size. Does exactly what it describes. Very easy to connect all your devices. The package does not include a charger. Only a cable.
It works correctly, it has never crashed after several months of use, and it connects to Bluetooth thermometers on two floors up and down. Although I don't particularly like Xiaomi's ecosystem that forces you to use only mobile apps, you can do a great job with the scenarios and automation. Absolutely no complaints.
A great device. I don't know much about what I read, that devices don't connect, that it's slow with notifications, but what I have to say is that it works perfectly for me without any issues, all notifications come through instantly. It doesn't freeze, doesn't turn off, doesn't disconnect, I have it next to the router and it's perfect. It has plenty of accessories to purchase along with the hub, so you won't miss out on any functions that most people want. Just keep in mind that only Xiaomi and Aqara products can be connected to the Xiaomi hub, it doesn't recognize the others
I connected all the devices I had to the Aquara hub, the only thing that doesn't connect is Aquara bulbs. Body Sensor, cameras, temp sensors, switch, and everything else I had, it picked up. (I selected them as Xiaomi and not the Aquara ones that were actually there). Also, I'm using it with Google Home Assistant without any issues for now. Satisfied with its value for money.
The notifications sent to the mobile arrive after an hour. Do not buy anything from the mi home series, they do not work properly.
It has a very weak sound and no option for sound selection. It has that classic annoying "beep beep" and the automations react quite slowly and sometimes not at all... Nevertheless, it functions relatively well, it doesn't disconnect, and it has good range between connected devices. A mediocre product
It works perfectly after 2 months. I also bought a second one and connected it to the Aqara water leak sensor! Although I couldn't connect the Aqara water leak sensor to the new Xiaomi YTC4044GL Smart Home Hub through the Mi Home App, I finally managed to do it by pressing the mi hub three times (activating the search for a new device) and then long-clicking on the water leak sensor for 5 seconds, which automatically pairs the devices and the sensor finally appears in the Mi Home App! Luckily, I didn't need to buy an additional Aqara Hub!
I bought it to connect humidity and temperature sensors to HomeKit. And a wireless switch. It's good, but sometimes it doesn't catch the switch click on the first try. Also, the devices that can be connected to it are limited in variety.
The 1 star is lost for the sounds and the fact that it is not compatible with Google Assistant. It is worth its money, it does everything that its predecessors did and it has not given me any issues with disconnections, neither with the wifi nor with the connected devices (bluetooth & zigbee). It is worth it to create any automations you have in mind. Not even for a security system
I have had it for a long time and I had disconnections every day, I put it in a voltage stabilizer and I calmed down. I have 25 devices on it.
Very easy to install.
It was mainly purchased to connect several Xiaomi temperature & humidity monitors 2 via Bluetooth.
They were immediately recognized and work perfectly through the Xiaomi Home application.
It also immediately recognized a Zigbee door sensor.
Unfortunately, these devices are not connected either to Homekit or to Google Home.
Very good the new hub of Xiaomi small and minimal.. In relation of course to the set and the previous model the hub has 2 differences that it does not have sound change and powerful sound! The connection is quite stable, it does not disconnect and also its initial use, which I got it for, is for automations and scenarios with other Smart devices that I have Xiaomi and then as an "alarm". Fearlessly take it, it's worth it.. It is definitely more upgraded than the old model except for the sounds.
Compared to the previous model, it has much fewer capabilities (sounds, lights, notifications). I only bought it because it works with Apple Home and can connect numerically with more devices. It does its job.
