Purchased 01/2021. The truth is that with 2 teenagers at home, it has worked its overtime, but still, the two pump replacements at a charge of 120 euros each are unjustifiable. Of course, both are out of warranty.

very good washing machine, it does its job. It has some programs that take HOURS but you can simply choose not to select them. When you get it, also get anti-vibration pads, because it moves around and rolls in the space. Also, the fabric softener yes it "takes" all of it, but it leaves some residues and after the wash it is full of water. For its price and for me at least for 5 washes a week, for a year it hasn't given me any issues.

It is completely silent, you don't hear it easily. It washes very well, it takes out the clothes dry and it doesn't damage them, especially at 1400 revolutions.

In a research we did to replace it with a larger one, we found that after 8kg, 9kg, 10kg, and 10.5kg, they all have the same capacity in the drum. In the measurements I made, the drum has a diameter of 520mm and a depth of 340mm, while the old 8kg had a diameter of 480mm and a depth of 320mm. Only the 12kg has a depth of 410mm, the diameter is the same in all. If you go down to 7kg, it also has the same diameter but a smaller depth. The door in all is 300mm in diameter, and I saw that it is worth going for the 9kg because it has a very small price difference from the 8kg. The 12kg has a huge price difference, of course, it is almost double. The differences between models are minimal, they all have steam, the more expensive ones just have more steam programs. The external dimensions are the same for the 8kg, 9kg, 10.5kg, and 10kg, only the 12kg has more depth, but the width and height are the same. The 7kg has a smaller depth, but the price difference with the 8kg is very small, so it is not worth going for the 7kg. Be careful when installing it, remove the four screws that are the fuses at the back and adjust the legs from below by placing a level to align it horizontally and vertically for perfect results. After two years and two months, just as the warranty expired, it stopped working and I sent the board for repair. It was not repaired and I had to buy a new one for 200 euros.
The build quality is dramatically poor.
My previous LG worked for 8 years with only one repair, the replacement of the shock absorbers, which is justified by the heavy use

It is worth it and more! It fits a whole laundry basket inside, resulting in me doing 3 loads of laundry per week or even less for a 3-member family with a toddler. The programs are satisfactory. Of course, most of them cover fewer kilograms of clothes, but that's okay. In the program for cotton, it fits 9 kilograms and for a full drum, with prewash and 1400 revolutions, it takes about 3.5 hours. At first, I freaked out when I saw the time, but since I don't use it every day, it doesn't bother me! It makes quite a noise during the spin cycle, but if it's in another room with the door closed, you can hear it a little. I am very satisfied with the appearance of the clothes after washing compared to an older washing machine of a different brand, considering that I use the same detergent! The only thing left to see is its durability over time. If I judge by my surroundings, where everyone has older models of LG, it will last for many years!

Purchase of the washing machine in mid-January 2023 from a well-known chain of stores. In exactly one month, it presented a problem with one of the sensors with a corresponding indication on the screen. I consider this unacceptable for a company like LG! On Sunday, 19/02/2023, when the damage occurred, I reported it immediately and the damage was recorded at the LG dealership. The next morning, they called me to be informed about the damage and to schedule an appointment with a technician, who came on Tuesday, 21/02/2023, and after checking the washing machine, immediately repaired the damage. I would give three stars for the device, but the impeccable treatment by the LG dealership left me completely satisfied! Honestly, I did not expect it. Ultimately, I consider the support provided by the dealership after the purchase to be more important than the device itself. So, four stars!
I have it for a year now, it does several washes on a weekly basis. The clothes have not suffered the slightest damage compared to a previous washing machine from another company. Also, the steam function leaves the clothes fluffy and not so wrinkled, so ironing is less time-consuming. As for the noise mentioned, I cannot understand what someone's requirements are, maybe it is as quiet as an electric car? Also, it does not move or make loud noise during high speeds. Of course, I never fill a washing machine until it can't fit anymore. Overall, I would buy it again, and I have recommended it to several people in the neighborhood.

From the day of purchase until today, it makes a noise during operation.
The noise is mainly heard when the washing machine takes in or drains water with the rotation of the drum. As shown in the photos, I have installed anti-vibration pads to absorb vibrations and to prevent it from moving out of place.
Nevertheless, the noise is annoying. I informed LG and they told me that a technician will look into it. Except for the noise, the washing machine washes perfectly for one and a half years.
20/2/2023: After a visit from an LG technician, he told me that the counterweights are loose and need to be tightened, and that the water pump is faulty.
27/02/2023: 2nd visit, the water pump was replaced and the counterweights were tightened, but the washing machine continues to make noise.
03/03/2023: 3rd visit from the technician, he told me that it cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced.
16/03/2023: It was picked up by a shipping company for further inspection at LG's headquarters.
23/3/2023: The washing machine was received after repair.

The washing machine worked continuously for almost 2 years without any problems. A few days ago, when it was spinning, it made a metallic noise that exceeded 90dB. As someone else mentioned, it sounded like a compressor. Due to the warranty, I called a technician from LG and he fixed it in 20 minutes. The counterweights were loose. From what I understand, this is a common occurrence with this model. Just keep that in mind.
Far away, far away, far away. I read the above good reviews and unfortunately I went and bought it. The washing machine is useless. Its quick program, which says 14 minutes, only takes 2 kilograms of clothes inside, even though it is 9 kilograms. Most programs only take a maximum of 4-5 kilograms, and the only programs you can fill the drum with are those that take an hour and a half or more. Also, if your clothes are not properly balanced, it throws an error and does not complete the wash, no matter if you put short sleeves with wool, for example. I had a 10-year-old washing machine that did a fine job, I bought this one for better economy but it's not. In practice, you either have to put a 2-hour program or do 10 loads with 2 kilograms of clothes. And finally, I want a damn washing machine to use, not to study physics about what should go in with what and if the drum is balanced.
So I put the hand wash program and it gets stuck, the drum doesn't turn at all, unacceptable. Besides, it claims to be quiet but it's quite loud. I bought this washing machine for a new house that I am preparing and on the occasion of visiting a store, I decided to buy a washing machine since it would definitely be necessary. In the final communication that took place today with the company and the question I had asked about returning this model and replacing it with a larger one (maybe we can finally get the job done), the company told me to contact the store that sold me the washing machine, implying that they misled me about the actual capabilities of this washing machine. I don't know who this washing machine is for in the end. The conclusions are up to you. This review is made with the aim of informing you, and it would be a great omission on my part not to mention the immediate response from LG, regardless of the outcome, from which I will continue to trust for possible future purchases of electronic items, just a little more suspiciously, following the company's instructions (about a salesperson who wants to make this sale by overpricing the corresponding product). One month and it had a problem with the motherboard and the door.
It doesn't drain the water and according to the technician, there is no manufacturing issue or problem with the drainage. So it's probably the motherboard. Also, the door leaks water.
All of this happened in the first month. Imagine what will happen next.

The review is about the 9kg washing machine. I have had it since June 2022 and I am honestly very disappointed with LG (regarding the washing machine, because I am very satisfied with their TVs, in fact, the two I have are very good). That's why I decided to trust the company for the washing machine and I regret it. It doesn't wash clothes well, it wrinkles them a lot even though it doesn't spin them well, even at 1400 revolutions per minute!!!! (unlike my previous Samsung model that almost dried them and didn't wrinkle them). And it makes a lot of noise during the spin cycle. On the positive side, it is quiet during the washing cycle and it has many programs, but only 2 of them allow for the maximum load of 9kg, the rest are for 2-3-4-5kg, etc. I will definitely not choose this company again for a washing machine. A very bad purchase, a big failure, and definitely not worth the money

It didn't impress me.
I have the 9kg one and I come from LG, which proved to be a fighter, with many years of experience and many washes. So I decided to give LG another chance.
Now, unlike the old one, I also have two kids.
The positives are that it is indeed quiet, the rubber and the overall construction seem to be of good quality (although this remains to be proven over time, I have had it for about 1 year) and the warranty that LG provides (although we will have to see how it responds in practice, if we ever need it).
The negatives are that our clothes are not washed as well as we would like, we would prefer better washing in all programs.
I wonder why no one has mentioned this so far, but every time we wash children's clothes, the socks get stuck in front of the door and they don't get washed or drained.
Also, I really miss the fact that it doesn't have a program specifically for spinning.
The honest rating is 3.5 stars, but since I can't leave 3.5 and because I was disappointed, I give it 3.

It is a satisfactory washing machine in relation to its price. I have not found any disadvantages so far. Relatively quiet and clothes are satisfactorily clean. The only small drawback is that if you put a large amount of clothes, it adjusts to wash them in many hours (4+). WARNING: IF YOU INSTALL IT YOURSELF, REMOVE THE FOUR LARGE SCREWS FROM THE BACK THAT STABILIZE THE DRUM DURING TRANSPORTATION. IF YOU DON'T REMOVE THEM, IT MAKES A LOUD NOISE DURING SPINNING AND THE WASHING MACHINE IS IMMEDIATELY DAMAGED.
Since I just bought it and have done a few washes, I find it excellent for starters. It makes a low sound like a hum, but you can mainly hear it if you are next to it, and even then, it's a little. If you are bothered by the slightest noise and are picky people, take your clothes to a laundromat.
Overall, it washes perfectly with very useful programs, it doesn't make noise, it doesn't shake, it doesn't vibrate, it's beautiful. That's it, and I'll get back to you in a few months.

2024 (we're almost in 2025) and it still works perfectly. It doesn't raise the temperature, it doesn't make noise, and it washes flawlessly.
After more than 6 months of use, everything is good, and there are plenty of programs, and it is quiet and cleans clothes well, just like previous owners of this washing machine have said. But I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because during the spinning cycle, it gets very hot on top of the machine, where we usually place things. I don't know if it does this to others as well, but even at 400 rotations per minute, it gets quite hot. Hopefully, this won't be a problem in the future.
I bought it three months ago and I have to say that it delivers on all the promises as a washing machine and more! Clothes come out spotlessly clean and almost dry, and the steam function is very powerful!

An excellent choice with a function of over 7 months, it is quiet and has plenty of programs. Due to the fact that the water in my area is very hard (seaside house...and with water filters please in the main collector)...and yet despite all this, preventively and only I use a regular water softener tablet and always have excellent results in every program!
