I struggled a lot to get it to recognize the RG45 port. Unfortunately, the RG45 is not plug and play. I had to search on the official site to find drivers for it to work on a MACBOOK, which was not easy and maybe impossible for an average user to make it function. The accompanying CD is useless because no new MACBOOK has a CD-DVD drive. But even older ones cannot read mini CDs!
