For Sony a7IV batteries, the charger is small and lightweight to always have it in your bag.
With a simple USB charger, it takes soooooooo long to charge 1 battery!!! :(
From other reviews I found out that for simultaneous charging of both batteries you will need to purchase a quick charge charger = additional expenses. I have not tried the Sony charger to have a comparison, but due to cost I will probably try an additional quick charge charger.
I would recommend an authentic Sony charger, and you have peace of mind, but with more money unfortunately.

Owner of the a7IV which does not have a charger in the package, I decided to try the nitecore charger after watching reviews on YouTube.
The charger has an ideal size to take with you on a trip compared to other dual chargers.
Once you connect the battery, it displays an indication of the battery's health, charging percentage, and mA/second it provides to each battery.
It operates via USB, charging one battery at a time, while for simultaneous charging of both batteries, you will need to purchase a quick charge charger, which is not included in the package.
In quick charge mode, it charges a single battery at 1,200mA per second, while for two batteries simultaneously, the maximum charging drops to 800mA for each battery.
So far, very satisfied with the product, I recommend it.

My faith has been lost. On YouTube, it said that it could charge the batteries in 4 hours, but every time I plugged it in, it took about 6 hours JUST FOR ONE. I changed cables and plugs, but nothing happened. During charging, it showed quick charge, but the voltage dropped very quickly. I don't know if mine turned out to be defective now, but I have been very patient and I believe it's not worth it.

update:
After 1.5 years, I noticed that generally the batteries didn't make good contact and it needs to be slightly lifted on one side to charge properly. It charges both in about 8 hours. I still insist that it's not a good purchase.
