2 months of use and I am quite happy, strong and clear sound, at a very low volume and it is already quite a good sound level, outside where I took it for a walk it’s very good for the bike ride I did, in small closed spaces like my room it’s just perfect you feel like you’re having a party and the sound surrounds the room as if it has surround sound, it charges in about 4 to 5 hours, with the app I have no issues if you want you can play with the speaker volumes for how everyone wants to hear it, I personally didn’t change it even though I’m into metal & rock music. I knew what I was looking for and I know what I got. I recommend it easily and for the money it was worth it!

Wonderful speaker, it is very loud and has a great range for Bluetooth.
The product is very good. I have had it for 2 years and it has been through everything. It has even fallen off my bike while I was riding at 40km/h and it didn't get damaged. It lasts up to 7 hours
For its size, it has a very powerful and full sound (of course, thanks to DSP), but it is not the classic "V" shape that most speakers of its kind have. It has clean bass, although not very deep, with the mids and highs being open, creating an open sound. I have connected it via "PartyBoost" to a Pulse 5 and together they create a nice visual and auditory atmosphere.
On the negative side, the battery indicator only appears during charging and the charger, although included in the package, is specific to this speaker. (It is USB C, its power is specific). Also, like most speakers of its kind, as the volume increases, around 70%, the bass decreases for protection. A strange fact is that this speaker "prefers" electronic music over Heavy Metal, but classic Rock sounds fine as well. The speaker does not have the ability to skip or change the track being played (this can only be done from the connected device), only the volume and pause of the sound are controllable.
However, I did not expect it to have a much better sound than the Edifier 1850DB, which have been my main speakers for the past 2+ years!
First of all, I would like to state that I am not a professional, I do it as a hobby to buy speakers. I have bought several audio systems, computer speakers, and even small portable ones. If someone is mainly interested in bass and also wants portability, I would recommend them to take a closer look at this speaker. Its sound easily fills a 50sqm living room and can be connected to the TV via Bluetooth. Through the app it comes with, you can adjust the bass and other system settings it will receive. Because let's not forget, it is a portable speaker. It comes in its box with a charger of about 70 watts and a strap to carry it outside, which is a very good move that has helped me a lot. In conclusion, I mainly recommend it to young people mainly because of its portability and powerful sound and bass.

The speaker is perfect but it also asks for the corresponding amount... whoever has it gives it and enjoys very good sound in almost all spaces. Avoid references and... advice like this "For additional volume increase there is a secret through Spotify->Settings->Playback->Equalizer and then drag all the dots up..." enough already!! Half-knowledge and ignorance that changes the rules of the definition of "correct sound" and that can lead people to listen to distorted sound and with a high risk of damaging the speaker. Enough already, guys... ENOUGH!!
The speaker has been taken for a walk on all the beaches of northern Greece for the past 2 summers, thrown in the sand, in the rain, crashing on the wave..... Dog!!! For those of you who are into camping to have more hours of sound, just have it one step below full volume, it does various things, it lasts for 8+ hours. And if you connect a power bank when the battery is halfway, it will last for 12 hours at full volume, please. Compared to the boombax that we put side by side, the boombax does have deeper bass but the volume is the same. The Xtreme can be connected to a power bank to charge it wherever you want, while the boombax cannot. I won't describe it anymore, it's an AMAZING SPEAKER

Well, I had the xtreme 2 and something, I don't know, it didn't satisfy me. I felt like something was missing in its sound and volume, as well as the bass. I got the xtreme 3 and I saw it all. Its bass is clear even at low volume and its kick is powerful. As for its performance at maximum volume, the bass is more pronounced than it was on the xtreme 2. I highly recommend it. And it claims to be waterproof. I even take baths with the speaker inside the bathtub, getting wet, and nothing happens to it.
I was searching and comparing between charge 4 and charge 5 for days. Just when I had decided on the 5, a friend bought it and helped me check it out up close. However, I ended up buying the xrreme3 for €230 as there was a small price difference. I think the charge 5 offers better value for money. There are slight differences, but the xtreme is significantly larger. In terms of quality, sound, bass, etc., it is very good.

I had the JBL Charge 3 before and I expected it to be twice as powerful, but it is almost below, not two unless it improves. The sound quality is what you would expect from JBL.
Clear high and mid frequencies, even at maximum volume.
Depending on where you place it in the room, the bass (low frequencies) can be very powerful or just noticeable. This is completely expected for this type of speaker. It cannot produce booming bass at a great distance from the speaker when there is no volume (empty space, box) to amplify the low frequencies and make them concentrated and strong in the ear.
Its main advantage is the clarity and power of the sound, combined with its balanced portability [for the same price, you can get much larger Bluetooth speakers with stronger bass, but practically not portable].
If you place it on a corner wall (e.g. on the balcony), the bass will be much better.
If you place it in a small space (e.g. on the shelves of a library), the bass will be superb.
If someone places it in an open space, they will feel the bass strongly at a distance of 2m. As they move away, it is NATURAL not to feel it as strong (it is not a concert speaker :-) ).
Personally, I am completely satisfied.
An advantage is the combination via PartyBoost, of the Extreme3 with Flip5, Charge5, BoomBox2, etc., for stereo sound from two devices in an open environment or monophonic sound with an array of connected speakers.
I was the owner of the Sony SRS-XB30, which was one of my best purchases 3 years ago. However, its battery performance had dropped, so I thought it was time to change and I wanted to try the JBL because I had heard very good things about the xtreme 2, so when I found out that a new one had come out, I didn't think twice. The speaker has amazing sound, its vocals are amazing, the bass is deep, and its volume is very loud. It charges with USB-Type-C, which means faster charging, it has a USB out for charging your devices, etc. The connection is amazing with my phone and the battery lasts a long time. As for the negatives, I would say the weight, but the speaker has straps that you tie around your shoulders, which makes it very convenient. I would also dare to say that its price is a bit high, but this is a common phenomenon for JBL's new releases. Overall, a purchase that is worth its money!
It is a very good speaker but you need to know what to expect. First of all, let me clarify that I don't believe it's worth 300 euros. I got it on sale for 210. Regarding its performance in general, I have the following to say. Don't expect captivating bass. Although powerful, as it is 50w, I don't think it will impress anyone. As for the clarity of the sound at all frequencies, I have to say it's perfect. The same goes for the volume.
Guys, I don't know... maybe the biggest rip-off... the worst thing there is, the speaker is not worth its money at all. I had the JBL Charger 4 before (120 euros) and it had almost the same sound... Truly disappointing... I wish I could give it away for around 200 euros just to get rid of it, I don't even want it.
