As a used device, I will evaluate it with a battery at 87% of its original capacity, which will soon be replaced with a new one (always genuine, and ignore the "experts" promising you top-notch batteries supposedly from German companies that are the same as the genuine ones).
I come from an iPhone XS Max with a battery at 99%, and the difference is chaotic in favor of the iPhone 12, to the point where I truly couldn't believe that we were talking about such an upgrade in user experience.
I should note that I rejected the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which was about €150 more expensive, as it excels in areas that are not as important to me, such as the camera (if you consider the camera a key feature, then choose it over the iPhone 12).
In terms of pros, the 5G functionality makes it truly fast, and there are no noticeable lags or disconnections, unlike the Pro Max.
The photos are impeccable to my taste, the videos are very good, and it performs satisfactorily in low light conditions.
The color reproduction is excellent in sunlight, although the function could have been better.
The build materials and assembly are of high quality, but a case and a screen protector are necessary to prevent scratches on the screen and body, especially if you wear rings on your fingers.
The size is convenient for me, and I don't consider the weight to be a problem. The face recognition is significantly improved, which impressed me as it recognizes faces even with sunglasses or masks, something my old device couldn't do.
As I mentioned before, the battery, despite being already degraded, performs similarly to the new XS Pro Max with the same usage.
Charging takes a little longer, but it is fast up to 80% and then slows down until reaching 100% (yes, I'm one of those who charge it to the fullest)...
I have some reservations about the level of radiation emitted by the device, as the regular iPhone 12 had some issues in certain countries, but I couldn't find anything about this specific model, to be honest.
In conclusion, I believe it is an excellent choice for the average user who still wants a device for communication, some social media, internet browsing, and decent photos and videos even in 2024.

I bought the aforementioned mobile in 2021. As an Android user (Sony Z1, Z2, Samsung S7, S9+, Huawei P30 Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro, 8T), I made the decision to make a change and of course, I did not regret it. Very good camera and excellent video, tremendous battery. In this aspect, Apple has improved incredibly (now all new Apple phones, except for the mini, have a very good battery and incredible efficiency from the operating system). The speakers are very loud with nice bass. As for the negatives, the Max model is quite large and difficult to use with one hand, and its camera doesn't have any "crazy" difference compared to the iPhone 12 Pro.

What can I say about this mobile phone..

There are some details that would make me change the model if they actually released something new:
1) The camera in low light could have been significantly better. (in all models. come on)
2) Long battery life over time.
3) Don't get the silver color because even the case you put on it will get scratched out of nowhere.If I think of something newer, I will update. In the year 2023, I would buy it used because it simply still does its job perfectly and more, without having anything to envy from the two newer models!

I bought this mobile phone last summer for the price of €1100 (I was the owner of the Note 9 and in general all my mobile phones were Android, although I was familiar with Apple's software and the quality of its products because I had an iPad). Although I am very satisfied with the mobile phone, I will not hide that I miss MANY of the functions that my previous mobile phone had, as well as the Spen. My complaints mainly concern the battery, as with this mobile phone before iOS 16, I easily got 1.5 days on a single charge, and for 1.5 years I had maintained the battery health at 100%, but after the update, it dropped to 95% and barely lasts 1 day. Also, I have been having some problems with charging as it does not always charge when I plug it in. The camera, although very good, cannot be compared to the cameras of current flagship mobile phones, and finally, what bothers me a little is its screen, which although very good, does not match the curved and much more vibrant screen of the Note 9, which was the mobile phone of 2019... I will not hide that I often miss my old mobile phone, although Apple's software is superior. In the future, my next mobile phone will probably be from Apple despite everything.

When the outside temperature is 30 degrees, it heats up and dims down the screen, so I can't even see it in the shade! The same problem occurs when taking photos or videos at the beach. UNACCEPTABLE temperature management for a phone of this price. That's why I gave it 3 stars. I took it to the service center to show them the problem, and they said they don't see any issue. I didn't expect Apple to have such issues with processor heat management.

It is my first iOS device as I have been a fanatical supporter of Android for years. I had HTC, Lg, Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi. I thought it was silly to spend so much money and have outdated specs.
When I held it in my hands and worked with it for a while, I realized how wrong I was and how right those who invested in Apple were.The phone is awesome. The materials are very premium externally, and the only thing that is a bit difficult is that the cameras protrude on the back. Of course, this can be fixed with a case or lens protector.
When I used it for two days, I realized that the device's major selling point is its software. It took me very little time to get used to it, and now I wonder how I managed to use so many phones without it.
The cameras are incredible in both photos and especially videos, even in low light conditions. The portrait mode is fantastic, and the telephoto lens is also very good.
The battery easily lasts a day with heavy usage and takes about 1 hour to charge from 20% to 80%. If I don't push it too hard, it easily lasts a day and a half to two days.
Although I am a fan of larger phones, this one is indeed quite big and may bother some people as it is difficult to handle with one hand. However, it has been very convenient for me due to its large screen and the additional information it provides.
Of course, its major drawback is the price, and that's exactly who it is targeted towards - a specific market.
Finally, I am writing this review to help those who are considering transitioning from Android to iOS. Most of you will definitely not regret it, you will not have a hard time, and you will be amazed by the capabilities of both the phone and the software.

After a short break of 3 years from Apple devices, I bought this particular model a few days ago. I consider it unnecessary to mention the excellent build quality and attention to the smallest detail, because when you spend such a large amount of money, it is obvious that you expect only the best in terms of construction. The comparison I will make is based on the previous device I had in my hands (Samsung Note 10 Plus), so I will try to focus only on the technical specifications and not on software issues.
1) Display: Very good brightness, excellent color reproduction, but compared to the Note 10 Plus, it gives you the feeling that it is more 'dull'.
2) Sound: Crystal clear and pristine with proper distribution that you truly enjoy listening to for hours.
3) Battery: Perhaps the most important characteristic that concerns the majority of users, the battery life is truly exceptional. With normal usage (5G on, data on, Wi-Fi on, watching YouTube videos, using Microsoft Office for documents and sending emails, and several calls throughout the day), at the end of the day it is around 45%-50%! Charging takes about 65 minutes from 30% to 100%. In contrast, with the Samsung Note 10 Plus, I would return home every night with 20% to 25% battery with the same usage, and I had to charge it to prevent it from dying during the night.
4) Cameras-Photography: Excellent (perhaps the best on the market), but an average user will never be able to fully utilize them, not only due to knowledge but also because Apple's software offers minimal adjustment options. This means that you will have to download third-party applications for more freedom of choice (shutter speed, filters, flash, etc.).
5) Design: Appearance and beauty are always subjective. The square design, compared to the increased weight of the device (228 grams), gives a sense of solidity and luxury (something that personally won me over from the first moment before even purchasing it). However, for some (including myself), it may be initially off-putting until they get used to it, just as it happened to me, as the Samsung Note 10 Plus I had before was much lighter, with rounded corners, and an overall slimmer silhouette than the 12 Pro Max.
Overall, it is a mobile device (yes, it also makes phone calls) that can only be characterized as professional and, of course, with the support that Apple provides for its devices, it will definitely take several years before it needs replacement. The average user can do their work with devices that are much cheaper, without compromising on features. However, for someone who can justify the (extremely high) price and needs the processing power of a versatile computer, then this particular phone is an investment in a very reliable work tool.

(05.10.21) First time iPhone user! Years of being an Android user. The mobile phone is really good! You can't easily find something negative, except for the price of course ????
The truth is, I expected something better, as I come from the Huawei P20 Pro, but the differences I saw were in the camera, speed, and touch. But I didn't see that "wow" factor that I expected to see and say, "It's actually much better than I expected." I won't ramble on anymore, I will mention specific things.
I have had the phone for about 2 months.
I didn't expect it to have any problems immediately, and I believed that iPhones don't lag.
Sometimes, when I try to search for an application, as I start typing my name, it shows results in the first 2 letters, and as I type the whole name, it doesn't show me new results and stays with the results it showed me in the first 2 letters. However, this happened before the iOS 15 update. So, it's a small and silly problem, maybe, for most people.
Let's talk about the speaker. The speaker seemed terrible to me the first time, without exaggeration, and I got disappointed immediately. But then, I don't know, maybe I got used to it (?) and it started to seem normal to me, but not as good as it was on Huawei! For 1200 euros, it should have been flawless!
Let's briefly talk about the battery. The battery is not something extraordinary, but it's not bad either (unless you're used to Android batteries of 4,200 and above, then I think it will disappoint you). Coming from 4,000 on my old phone, I understand the difference in battery life, but it doesn't disappoint me either. It's good. Now, regarding charging, it gets quite warm without even using it, maybe it's because of the charger, I don't know.
Finally, something else I didn't expect is the brightness. It's not that good, you can't see well outside.
Let's quickly move on to the positives though!
The speed is AMAZING! The camera is simply wonderful, and with the 0.5 zoom, the result is unreal! (see photo). Its performance in games is remarkable and unbeatable! The immediate response of the screen cannot be compared to Android! That's why on Android, they "mess with" the PPI. There is a lot of free storage space (I have 128GB) since the existing programs don't take up much space!
If you're thinking of getting it in October 2021, it's better to go for the newer model, the iPhone 13, it's worth a little more.

I also had a problem with the power button/screen on/off button, as suddenly it wasn't fast and it worked after 1 second. I restarted it, nothing!! I had to do factory resets, and since then it's been working fine again.Translated from Greek ·- Call quality

The iPhone 12 Pro Max is a mobile phone that is targeted towards those who have the money to spend, and mainly for the Pro Max features. The battery is quite satisfactory, but 3,687mAh in the year 2020-21 is unacceptable.
Edit: (September 28, 2021) After almost 3 months, the phone continues to be flawless as it has a premium build quality with high-quality Gorilla Glass Ceramic Shield on the front and back, as well as the Stainless Steel frame. The phone is still at 100% battery after 3 months. For me, it is worth the money, but for those who have the iPhone 11 Pro Max, I consider it to be a waste of money... I regret it a bit... I should have stuck with the iPhone 11 Pro Max and gotten an Apple Watch and AirPods Pro.
(July 18, 2022) 1 year after having it in my possession, I am very disappointed with the whole situation. For the price it costs, it is unacceptable to receive messages all the time like: "iPhone is too hot, Please wait to cooldown your iPhone, Charging stopped due to iPhone's temperature." In summary, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is not suitable for summer seasons. IT OVERHEATS IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES EVEN WITH HEAVY USAGE, UNTIL WINTER.

Coming from Android phones, specifically Redmi Note 8 Pro, Samsung A40, Mi 5, Mi3, and persisting that Apple is overpriced for what they offer, I decided to try my luck with iPhones.
So, I bought the 12 Pro Max and I have to say that I didn't expect it to be this good.
Incredible photos with the 12MP camera, fantastic portrait mode (the Lidar does an amazing job), apps open instantly, and it never freezes.
I was impressed by how it keeps apps open (maybe even more than 20) without draining the battery.
As for the battery, for everyday use, browsing, a few games, and Netflix, it easily lasts a day. Apple has done a great job with iOS management.
The negatives I found are compatibility issues, such as most banks not supporting Apple Pay or the need for iTunes to transfer files. Overall, Apple is very closed off in these matters.
The build quality is excellent and beautiful.We'll see if it stands the test of time.

Upgrade from iPhone X after 4 years. The mobile is AMAZING !!!! My friend who has the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra was impressed by the Pro Max. Former android user, I decided to make the change and switch to iOS.
As an operating system, it's not as user-friendly as Android and it takes a few days to understand how it works. iTunes is indeed the most tragic program out there, as I had been told, but I didn't expect it to be so bad.
For transferring music, you can download the program "copy trans" on your computer and in a minute, you can transfer as many songs as you want. For transferring photos from your phone to your computer, you can download the "Photos" application for free from the Microsoft Store on your PC.
The sound is very good, the videos are perfect, the best in its category. The camera is quite good, not as good as the p40 pro I had, but it definitely doesn't disappoint. The apps run smoothly without any problems.
The battery is good, it easily lasts a day and charges quickly, even though I was worried before buying it because I heard it was only 20w. Face ID works perfectly, even at night.
Is it worth it? Definitely not for 1200 euros, it's way too expensive. I bought it without VAT for 900 euros and I still consider it overpriced. The good thing is that whenever you put it up for sale, you can easily sell it.
