I see a lot of people talking about faulty parts, but what I have to say is that in the 2 years of use, it hasn't had any issues. However, the truth is that the colors, although quite vibrant, even someone who doesn't know will realize that they are not good and will notice the discomfort after a while if it is the only source of lighting in the room. Also, I have to say that the adhesive, like in all LED strips, is bad and you will definitely need to use some other material to stick it to the wall and make it stay.
To conclude this review, I believe that for the money (I bought it for 9€), it's worth it for a room like a playroom or kitchen. However, I give it three stars for the aforementioned disadvantages.
I had bought two identical movies. One was perfect. The other one, within six months, started to have poor contact and now it doesn't work anymore.
Certainly, double-sided tape is necessary because the adhesive it has is a step better than using saliva. Also, when connecting it to the transformer, due to its poor quality, if you don't place it at a perfect angle, you won't have light as it won't make contact. Generally, it's worth giving 3-4 extra euros for something better. I bought 2 and both were of poor quality, so it's not like I got a defective one. Of course, when you manage to install it and hide it properly and take care of all the above, the light is fine because, after all, it's just a simple RGB tape
It is worth the money and more
One of the worst movies you can get, I had bought better quality from SHEIN before... Firstly, the glue is not good at all and I tried double-sided tape and still nothing. The lighting is quite good but it only has two colors, red and blue. The green doesn't even work and when you press for white, it gives you a multicolored light. I don't know what else to say, just choose others because I read the reviews and they seemed good but they are not
Good choice for the money, but the glue is not strong at all. I stuck it under the bed and it came off within the first 10 minutes. I will try using double-sided tape. Other than that, it has plenty of colors and creates a nice atmosphere in the room!
We installed it around the skirting board on the floor to create something like hidden lighting.
Good colors and easy selection with the remote control. Time will show durability, but I believe we won't have any issues.
Maybe one of the best on the market.. Intense light and a wide range of colors.. The adhesive they have on the back is fine for now, but if needed, I will add double-sided tape in the future.. For their price, they are truly wonderful, they deserve it
I bought two 5m tapes each and connected them to become one 7m for the bed and the other 3m for the ceiling behind the plasterboard. Very good, excellent lighting. The construction of the materials is not of good quality, but they do their job. The adhesive of the tape is good, strong, but I added extra double-sided tape pieces everywhere for better grip. The only "negative" is the white light which is indeed white in one tape, while in the other, 4m is yellow and 1m is white. Overall satisfied.
Very good LED strip. It is quite good in its illumination. Durability... I don't know yet. I used a smart life adapter... and threw away its own and now I control it from my phone and Alexa. The good thing it has is the 60 LEDs per meter... always these... to have good and intense lighting.
I put it on the headboard of the bed to create hidden lighting. Incredibly intense light, many colors and combinations, option to adjust the brightness of the light. The installation was not difficult, you just need to use double-sided tape for a stronger application because its own adhesive does not hold well. In case someone wants to make a corner with the LED strip, it is good not to bend it too much as it may break the circuit and only half of it will light up.
Very nice movie, nice colors. It has very strong and very low lighting options. That's what I was looking for.
Now, let's talk about the tape. I have put it on a piece of furniture and another one that I had bought for the same price fell off again. Fortunately, it didn't fall completely because I put tape in some areas. You should use double-sided tape if it's hidden. If it's for a wall, I can't help, but most likely it's still double-sided tape.
And the remote control works from one tape to another if someone has another tape with the same remote control.
