  I have oily and sensitive skin - this product suits me perfectly! It doesn't dry out the skin but cleanses satisfactorily. Quality-price ratio - the best. I create a light foam with my hands (which is basically what I do with every gel-type product). I don't wear waterproof makeup so whatever I have - it gets cleaned with this product.

  Well! I bought it from a pharmacy in my neighborhood.
  My profile: Combination skin that sometimes gets oily and sometimes feels tight or dry.
  For years, I was using acne cleansers (even though I have a very mild form of acne) and cleansers for oily skin, which made my face worse.
  This is the first time I try something for normal to dry skin and not normal to oily, but compared to the many cleansers I have tried over the years, I formed the following opinion:
  "Maybe it's because of the weather, but it sat on my skin like a gentle glove, even though it's for normal to dry skin. It requires a normal amount on wet skin, you put it on your hands and activate it with water, creating foam... don't expect it to come out like shaving cream, at least for me it creates bubbles, but not like dish soap, just so we understand each other.
  It cleans satisfactorily without drying or pulling the skin, and even though I have sensitive skin, it didn't cause any itching or irritation.
  Afterwards, my skin felt soft and clean, without any feeling of oiliness or dryness.

  Faced with acne on normal to dry skin (something that is not common), this crucial product saved me. I tried the other two (Foaming/Hydrating), one was too strong and the other did nothing... Its ingredients are also unique and it surprises me that even though it has so many, my skin did not react, on the contrary, the acne disappears (3 weeks of use so far with moisturizer after cleansing, always). For me, the best of Cerave, but experiment before deciding to purchase it

  All winter I had lost the natural color of my skin due to rosacea acne because of unsuitable products. After trying many products that were very unsuitable for my skin (combination skin), the pharmacist recommended it to me as I was desperate from hundreds of facial cleansers after trying them all!   I use it as a 2nd step in double cleansing, or just on its own in the morning (when I don't have makeup or sunscreen). It doesn't completely remove makeup, but I really like it, more than the gel.   I use it alone for removing 1-2 layers of sunscreen (mineral tinted sunscreen) and it does a good job, without leaving residue and without drying out the skin. It is not enough for removing full makeup. I use it as a supplementary product in double cleansing, meaning after oil cleansing, and it is perfect. It doesn't have a scent like all Cerave products, and that's one of their good points, so don't expect floral or fruity scents, etc.

  I bought it because it's CeraVe but I ended up disappointed. I have normal skin and this soap didn't work for me. It doesn't deeply cleanse my skin and I believe they have focused more on its moisturizing action rather than its cleansing. It leaves a sticky feeling in the end. It also stung my eyes a bit.   I have made a similar review for another CeraVe product, except that the other one does not foam and I prefer products that foam due to the sensation and ease of rinsing.

  This is the second time I have it. I discovered it by chance in the summer and I liked it relatively. More specifically:

  The Good
  -> It has no fragrance, so it does not have unnecessary substances or plastic.
  -> Perfect foam.
  -> Cleanses without drying out my skin.
  -> Rinses off easily.

  The Meh
  I believe that CeraVe is overly marketed as a brand recommended by dermatologists, as it does not offer such a great competitive advantage, the active ingredients it has are in small percentages, and it is not the greatest discovery ever.

  Conclusion: Apart from my criticism as a brand, it is an excellent choice for its price. Around 8 euros for a regular cleanser that foams is decent, and it had removed small acne marks for me with a moisturizing cream and good hydration. Recommended.

  Edit: First of all, thank you very much for making me the most helpful review of the product. Secondly, I bought it again! But it has a slightly more watery composition (I don't know if they have changed the ingredients). Anyway, it does a similar job, just be careful with how much pressure you apply on the pump
