    If I say it hasn't fallen at all, it would be a lie, but it hasn't detached the mosfet. They are sensitive and easily have issues. Generally, we've had it for about 7 years but with little use.

    It does its job well and charges quite quickly. I express some doubts about its longevity, as I have had 2 similar ones (from D500 and D750) that broke within 5-7 years, unlike older Nikon chargers that were practically indestructible. Also, as a mom, the price is a bit steep for what it is. On the plus side, Nikon has been using the same battery family in most of its cameras for years, so it's unlikely to become useless on the shelf.
