The helmet has issues... unlimited noise! I have changed the front glass twice, it delaminates at the bottom! The fact that the company stopped it is not a coincidence, so be careful!

    Verified purchase

    Good evening..
I don't know where to start wanting to share my experience with this helmet purchase...
After searching for a long time for a helmet that has it all and is cost-effective (VFM), I finally ended up buying this model because:
    (+)
    1) I make a lot of stops without covering long distances, so the flip-up was my burning desire...
    2) But when I needed to escape from everyday life, the helmet should also offer me the option of intercom communication...
    3) It is the lightest (MEDIUM) in its category, weighing just 1450 grams/price.
    4) The price of 260e that I bought it for was within my budget...
    5) Its color matches very well with my new X-MAX 300 that I own...
    6) Finally, after reading descriptions from comments and various videos, the EVOJET helmet from SHARK seemed like the most suitable choice!!

However, I was counting without the "hotel" SHARK!!!
Wanting to WARN future buyers, I tell you that:
    (-)
    1) There is quite a bit of noise from the first kilometers... 60 and above...
    2) I bought the best-selling FreedConn T-COM VB intercom to connect and listen to my music, not miss my calls, and generally enjoy my getaways...
But the helmet's socket is smaller than that, so I will have to somehow open it more...
    3) In the first 3 days of use, the helmet's internal visor started to warp/swell (I attach a photo)!!! For the money I bought it and the SHARK brand, this is UNACCEPTABLE!!! If there was an option to add a video, I would also show you that the helmet doesn't "lock well in the buckle but has a slight play (fortunately not during riding).. ONE MONTH LATER and I am still WAITING for the company's response from FRANCE regarding the replacement of the helmet or the visor!! Unknown what they consider as WARRANTY!!
(note: I learned from the inside that other owners of this helmet had the same symptoms..)
    4) Several times it gets stuck a bit in the "open" position and I have to use both hands to detach it.

These are the general issues I encountered with the above purchase..
I hope I helped as much as I could with the pros (+) and cons (-) in my description.
As for those of us who fell for it... PATIENCE, and at some point SHARK will respond to us!!!

P.S.: I will come back with a new post as soon as I receive a response from SHARK headquarters regarding this helmet's issue!
P.S.: I am available for anyone who has questions about this specific product.
Thank you for your time and sorry for the lengthy and possibly tiresome text..

    Update 14/04/22
I finally have in my hands, after a long wait, the replacement of the helmet (photo).
Let's see what we will see...

6/4/23 and I remembered to update my review. The helmet was replaced by the company and the problem with the scratching did not happen again, but over time, without getting wet even once from the inside, it started to fog up again. In other words, after a while, the anti-fog coating weakens, resulting in not being able to see anything with the helmet closed, especially in winter. If pinlock doesn't come out for this helmet, it's simply useless.

Here we are again on 9/12/21 and the news is not good. The visor broke on its own. The membrane has scratched from the inside (due to temperature? poor construction?) and it looks very ugly. I have informed the store where I bought it, and they in turn informed the company and told me that because many people have experienced this, the company is looking into what is wrong and will send us a replacement. It has been over 3 months since then and no response. Also, if you wash the membrane frequently, it will start to fog up and this specific one does not support pinlock. It's probably a bad purchase, I would say.

I was searching for hours to find a helmet that would offer me safety and ergonomics but also be beautiful. I ended up with this beautiful helmet here.

I have had it for over a month, everything is fine so far, although I was afraid I might have issues with the "open-close" feature as when I tried it in the store, it had a problem and wouldn't open unless I pressed the two lower parts of the helmet inward where the visor makes contact. I bought it with this risk, and luckily I didn't have such an issue with my helmet.

The helmet is simply beautiful, and I have never had such visibility with any other helmet. As for its safety, we're talking about a Shark helmet.
Also, in terms of fogging, I haven't had any issues yet as the lining on the visor is still new, but anyway, I use it more often as an open-face helmet.
