  I have bought two for the kids (big kids, teenagers), while it heats up quickly in practice it is not convenient that it only has three settings. The best one I have ever had out of all the ones I have used (I happened to also buy a much more expensive one of Greek construction that ended up with my father) is from the well-known chain of German supermarkets that has 6 settings and a timer (for 1, 3, 6 or 12 hours) this is the most practical of all.

  For the kids, I put it on 2 to get into the warm bed after their evening bath, as soon as they lie down we turn it to 1 (otherwise they have nightmares that they are burning in the fires of hell) and then I set an alarm on my phone to go and turn it off before I go to sleep. Very messy... a timer on one hand would save us the worry for all the winter months (and the damn worries accumulate, we don't need more) and on the other hand a six-level setting would make 1 feel like half of this specific blanket which would be ideal. Otherwise, after one winter of use, it hasn't caused any issues in terms of performance, operation, etc.

  P.S. Another disadvantage I noticed is that the fluffy layer for the kids makes it feel much harder. We can't wait to take out the electric blanket for the summer to have the nice feeling and support of a proper mattress again!

  I have had it for four years, I have washed it in the washing machine and it hasn't had any issues. The wires don't bother you. For me, it heats up quickly in the right amount of time.
  When you set it to three, it reaches the point of warming you up a lot. Its performance is even suitable for those who live at high altitudes where snow accumulates quickly.
  I also like the innovation they have made, reinforcing the temperature of the underlayer low on the feet.

  As it is the first heated mattress pad I bought, I have no image of how it should be, so inevitably I will judge heated mattress pads in general. What I have to say is that if you don't have heating in your house, it's useful and it saves you from the cold, but on the other hand, if you have heating in your house, you don't need it. So it's something that only serves the most sensitive people to the cold. It takes a little while to warm up, so you shouldn't lie down immediately. It is not true that it warms up more in the feet, as expected, it warms up equally throughout its length, resulting in the back getting burned quickly, while the feet become just lukewarm. Finally, it is very small, to the point where it is better to buy a double one for a single bed. Therefore, if you are going to spend forty euros for the double (I laugh), spend a little more and get a heater, hold it close, caress it and it will warm you up better.

  Experience with an electric mattress pad I had 20 years ago, surely things have changed and I believe it has everything you want from a warm bed mattress pad. It has a very nice exterior feel as a material and you can't tell anywhere the inside with the resistances, etc. It warms up very quickly, at level 3 within 15 minutes it has warmed up the bed really well, I put it on level 2 to warm up, it doesn't need level 3. Then I close it completely, it's still not so cold that I need to keep it on level 1. It fits perfectly on the mattress with the elastic bands it has on the 4 corners. It doesn't move at all, it "clings" to the mattress, I just want to emphasize that it fits perfectly for a regular double mattress, I don't know how it will be for a queen-size mattress. Also, I don't know what will happen when it needs to be washed, it will definitely require caution and I will avoid the washing machine.

  For the money it costs, it is very good. To warm up with the setting at 3, it takes 45-50 minutes with a temperature that is initially satisfactory enough to lie down. After a while, I lower it to 2 to watch TV, and for sleep, I put it on 1 or turn it off. As for durability and washing, I don't know because I have had it for about a month. I should also mention that while searching for electric mattress pads before buying this one, I saw that there are replacement controllers available for this specific pad in case it breaks for someone. It also has 4 straps that attach to the 4 corners of the mattress, so it doesn't slip or move from its position. Overall, it is very good and very warm with good quality and a very good distribution-matching of temperatures (20-40-60W per side in the double size) based on the 3 adjustment positions it has. Finally, I would like to say that it heats up uniformly with a little more warmth on the feet.
