It is indeed more beautiful than it appears in the photos. The two stars in the rating are because - at least in mine - it does not work with batteries as there are no contacts in the box that is on the base for this reason, so it only works with electricity. Beautiful, a decoration, but it doesn't serve the purpose for which it was purchased. It is neither battery-operated nor suitable for outdoor use.
