Mine has the DMD CHIP 1910-50BBM. It develops high temperatures and after 1, 2 years it starts to burn and has white spots on the image. In this particular model, they have placed a small metal piece between the heat sink and the DMD to isolate the connection. In many models, this metal piece has proven to be defective and creates another problem. In my model, it is fixed with an extra membrane on the metal piece, but still the DMD started to burn and I have 8 white spots with moderate use in 1 year.
Because all models have an issue, I can't find a replacement for the DMD CHIP 1910-50BBM...

I was, for various reasons, torn between this one here and the Epson TW7000 (which, by the way, after extensive research, is perhaps the most color-accurate PJ for mainly nighttime projections and has incredible lens shift and throw distance for large living rooms). I ended up with the Xiaomi Mi 4K and I am blown away. Until I get the ALR screen, I project on a wall (which is completely flat - well done, craftsman!) and I really don't know how much of a difference the screen can make for night view. If you want daytime projection and don't have heavy curtains, obviously you should get an ALR tab tensioned screen, otherwise the colors will be washed out. The focus in the corners is excellent. The sound is really good AND incredibly loud. I never put it above 10/100. I've had it for two months now and haven't noticed any overheating issues. It blows out warm air but the machine doesn't heat up. The interface is decent, Netflix is missing of course, but for me, due to work, it wasn't an issue to connect it (in an older version though). Also, Google Chromecast works great for 1080p, but I have a good router, so I don't know if it will get congested with conventional ones. The 4K is not native, but from a distance of 2 meters and above, you won't notice. Overall, the experience is so incredible that, with the blessings of my wife, it changed the entire setup of the living room because of the projector. I highly recommend it.

Tip: Install X-plore file manager and in the system folder you will find Netflix disabled in version 7+. Enable it and you will have Netflix in 1080p. Enjoy
