I changed the mtx speakers I had for something better because the mtx ones didn't play any bass at all... as if they were torn.
I bought these ones, and although they have better sound quality for vocals (not a big difference), they still don't do anything for the bass... maybe slightly better, but they don't handle any bass at all... I have it at zero on the radio and it still sounds hoarse... I tried them on an amplifier in case the source was the problem, but they played exactly the same... I had made the above critique a few months ago.
However, it was wrong.
In the end, the amplifier I had tried back then had an issue, and they played quite poorly on the bass.
I installed an amplifier after first trying another one hastily, and they sound very good.
They don't have a lot of bass, but they don't sound hoarse.
They have very good vocals, and the tweeters are also very powerful.
I don't know if I would buy them again at the price I got them (150 €),
but now I see that they have dropped in price (120€)
