Description
Filter coffee beans from the company Santos Extra, for those of you who want to enjoy a flavorful coffee at any time of the day. With a blend of selected 100% arabica varieties, it has a smooth & sweet taste, increased acidity, and contains less caffeine than a robusta variety coffee. It combines fruity characteristics with chocolate, offering a clean finish with a good aftertaste. For the ideal result, the correct ratio of coffee to water plays an important role.
Water makes up 99% of the coffee content, so the amount of coffee needs to be carefully considered, as it is what will make the difference. Whether the coffee will end up being light or strong.
Roughly speaking, for every liter of water, about 50-65g of coffee is needed. On a smaller scale, this means around 6g of coffee per 100ml of water or 2 level tablespoons for each cup with a capacity of around 300ml of water.
Since the largest percentage of the beverage is water, you should not overlook the importance of the water you use, as its quality can greatly alter the taste result of your coffee.
If the area where you live has hard water, it is better to avoid it and instead use bottled or alternatively filtered tap water that is free from chlorine and other chemicals. The benefit will be twofold, both for the coffee, which will be more flavorful, and for the long-term good operation of your coffee maker.
Coffee storage: Coffee should be stored in an airtight container, in a dark place free from odors where room temperature prevails. Avoid storing your coffee in the refrigerator, as low temperatures solidify the oils inside the beans, which are responsible for a coffee with a full taste and rich aroma. Grind a little coffee at a time, ideally only as much as you want to consume. This way, you will have freshly ground coffee each time, minimizing the alteration of aromas and taste.

Reviews
This one has a mild aroma, while the Colombian has a stronger scent compared to other varieties. By using a larger dose, it reaches an intensity similar to those I used in the past, again Colombian.

Did you find this review helpful?Initial Comment: I didn't like it, I found it weak in both aroma and caffeine (because I usually use 25g of coffee..)
13/02/2023: However, with this one, I increased the quantity to 30g and the result is very good... In the end, I will probably reorder, so I changed the rating to four stars while initially I had given two stars (rectifying injustice).
