This is a 10″ blue filter that can be connected under the kitchen counter in series with the cold water supply for the removal of solid particles, dechlorination, reduction of heavy metals, etc. It can also be installed on the main supply.
The 1/2″ filter diameter favors a high water flow rate, while their increased resistance to high pressure allows for installation in almost any household.
Includes a tightening key, mounting base, and wall mounting screws. They are usually equipped with sediment filters for the removal of soil, rust, and sand, and activated carbon filters for basic water dechlorination.

For Athens, it is convenient as it prevents rust due to old installation. The 'invisible' ones... if they exist, they are fine. No pressure drop, no taste alteration (eiger activated carbon filter)
Combined with the eiger filters, it did the job in the village. The first one held sand (completely changed color within 2 months of use so I change it often) the second one cleans what you don't see. I consider filters necessary everywhere now.

Device that I bought along with the filter of the same company with carbon. The filter is what does all the work but the device is fine. I tried to install it myself but unfortunately I don't have the knowledge with plumbing so I incurred a small cost.
