An easy-to-use system

Ready for measurement straight from the box. The CONTOUR®CARE stores the results of the last 800 measurements and provides the Averages for 7, 14, 30, 90 days. It works with CONTOUR®CARE test strips and uses a small sample amount (0.6μl) with easy sample aspiration technology Sip-In Sampling®.

With smartCOLOUR™ target range indicator

The use of a meter with a color range indicator can significantly reduce HbA1c. Additionally, color range indicators have been shown to improve the confidence of individuals with diabetes and assist in decision-making guidance.

Accurate measurement results

Users of the CONTOUR®CARE blood glucose monitoring system can benefit from accurate measurement results, even during periods of hematocrit fluctuations.

Using a meter with Second-Chance® sampling

The CONTOUR®CARE features a 30-second countdown on the screen that gives you the opportunity to apply more blood to the same test strip if the initial sample is insufficient. This helps save test strips.

    I got it to check my glucose levels before and after exercise. Recently, I had a measurement done in the lab. After using this device, I was satisfied with its response after eating as well as before it. I took continuous measurements and noticed that my blood sugar dropped after eating.
    In a morning measurement, I took 5 consecutive readings and found that there was a deviation of 2 to 3 units from measurement to measurement. I consider this to be normal.
    Negatives:
    It could have a button to eject the strip. But you pull it out by hand, it does the same thing.

    All machines do the same thing otherwise it wouldn't be a machine for sugar but something else. However, this specific one does more than just displaying the measurement and noting it on paper. You don't need to keep a handwritten diary for the prices and the time you took the measurement, additionally add what you eat, medication, photos, and activities to the result of your measurement for a complete digital diary that you can print. You just need to connect it to your mobile.
