All the books by this author talk about issues that develop empathy and do so in a particularly interesting way. Perhaps the suitcase is the least "interesting" for toddlers - that's what I said - however, our son asks for it often and likes it.

Amazing book! We have been reading it for about 2 years, simply following the story and the images in the first phase. Deep meanings, very nice approach to the theme of uprooting and nostalgia, of reception and acceptance, of suspicion towards the unknown. Ultimately optimistic, full of messages

The best book I have ever read! I have been reading it to my child since they were 2 years old. The illustrations and the text are so simple yet so meaningful at the same time! I highly recommend it!
