I had a very bad experience as this specific USB of this type has a faulty design and caused damage to the USB ports of a computer. As shown in the photo, the USB consists of 3 parts. The external metal cover, the USB board where the data is stored, and the plastic cover that holds everything together.

The problem is that internally this connection is so loose that the USB board remained inside another computer and was not pulled out firmly or in the wrong way.

A very bad experience for such a product from this company. Yes, it is fast and does exactly what it promises, but in terms of product design, it is by far the worst I have seen.

  I bought the 64GB version because I was not satisfied with the sandisk 64GB USB 3.0 that I had. I messed up, since the kingston is much worse even though it claims to be USB 3.2. The writing every few seconds resets to zero and the average writing does not exceed 6-8 MB.

  I bought this 128GB one and when you use it to write large files or after continuous use, it becomes quite slow. I suppose it's either an issue with the controller or the flash technology it uses, it heats up and the speed drops to prevent it from burning out. I use it for live-boot on Linux, besides the fact that it took 6 hours to format and pass the iso through Rufus because the USB heated up so much that it reached speeds of 8 to 12 KB/s, when it's at room temperature it is slow to open in Linux, but when you reboot it takes much longer to open again due to the temperature. A small fan blowing on the USB had some improvement in performance...

  Easily the stick reached over 40°C after intensive use, so be careful.

  Would I recommend it? If you simply need a cheap stick to carry many files with you and you don't frequently write large files, I think it's okay.

  *I believe we are still in a phase where we can shrink the nand-flash to such a level that we can have 128 and 512 GB USB sticks that are so small and cheap... but we still haven't solved the problems that arise (speed/temperature) in a cheap way...

  From the first day, it had connection problems either with the laptop or with the television.
  I don't know if it's a design or functionality issue, but it simply seems like it doesn't fit well in the USB ports.
  On the laptop, with a little luck, it connects well and you can do your work (but still with randomly fluctuating speeds).
  Now it constantly disconnects from the television, so it goes into the drawer for backup...
