My expectation was that, in addition to the top opening, it would radiate heat into the room from the glass surface in front, which it does very little. You can touch the glass with your bare hand even after hours of operation. My conclusion is that this device is only good for prolonged use and not for shorter periods, like warming up a bathroom 20-30 minutes before someone takes a shower. Half an hour is not enough at all. It heats up very slowly. Its operation is not very easy in the sense that it is not obvious to a regular person with the available buttons. Also, the timer only counts hours and not shorter intervals, obviously because its operation is "slow" by design, and you can only program it for how many hours until it turns off.

Beautiful, elegant, and efficient heater. Heats up quickly and quietly. The only drawback is the thermostat that literally shows what it wants. You simply don't take it into consideration.
