Very good construction, so far it hasn't let me down but time will tell. It definitely lasts 7-8 hours continuously and I haven't noticed any decrease in that. The cable that comes with it is huge but unacceptable in its ability to charge the battery. It is only there to keep the battery percentage stable so it doesn't shut down on you. For charging, definitely use another charger.

Great kit and if it seems a bit expensive for just a battery keep in mind that in a couple weeks you would've spent this much on other batteries but with this you won't have to worry about that ever probably.

Did you find this review helpful?06/01/2024 As long as it worked, it was flawless... Until it stopped charging 4 months after I bought it. The usage I gave it was 10 hours of use every 1.5 weeks... I am completely disappointed with this particular Microsoft product as it should last a few years before experiencing any damage as it is considered genuine. The 25 euros I spent are wasted. :(
06/11/2024 P.S. I found it abandoned 10 months later in its box, after I left it because it wasn't working, I decided to try to charge it again by putting it inside the Xbox Series S controller, which I got in August, hoping it would work... And after 4 hours when I opened the Xbox to check it, it was fully charged and after hours of gaming when the battery had run out and I recharged it, it seems to work normally! Even if you use the controller periodically, with regular batteries, you will have to change them at least 1-2 times per month!
