In everyday use, the dimmer that the more expensive models have has not been convenient for me because when you need light, you need it immediately and I don't want to hold down the button to adjust it to the level I want.
Now, if you need a lot of light to see at a greater distance, it is not powerful enough. 100 lumens are enough for a hike to comfortably follow the trail, but not for exploring a large area. You will need something else that is more powerful, more expensive, and more energy-consuming.
