The electric blanket, from the company Camry, offers you relaxing warmth and comfort. It is highly recommended for individuals who care about their health and suffer from arthritis or rheumatism. The electric blanket soothes neuralgia, helps relax your muscles, and improves blood circulation.
The blanket is made from very soft double-sided fleece fabric. It can be machine washed at 30°C after disconnecting the power cord and temperature controller. With 7 heating levels, and HIGH and LOW functions, and a timer (1-9 hours) that automatically switches from HIGH to LOW after 1 hour. The controller allows you to select the temperature level and protect against overheating.

"Warms up quickly"? It is quite warm and "for the more demanding"? Are you kidding me? Did we get a different blanket? Level 7 is about as warm as level 1 in the corresponding Beurer category. Indeed, the resistors are not noticeable (they are very thin), and for this reason, the heat is equally unnoticeable. I am very disappointed. It is very hard for me to believe that anyone has ever warmed up with this blanket. Stay away, shameful.
It's bad that you set it to 9, which is Max, and after a while it drops to 7 and stays there. I don't understand it. I mean, you want to keep it at Max for as long as you use it and you can't. And it's not a "Defect" type of thing. That's how its mechanism works. It says so in the Manual
It is very good. The timer helps a lot; within ten minutes the blanket has warmed up and it doesn't need to be on all night. I highly recommend it
Pros: Very soft (accent on the A), heats up very well, and doesn't take too long to warm up.
Cons: When I have it spread out and turn it on, it seems to me that some areas don't heat up. This doesn't matter much when you're bundled up, of course (at least when I'm alone and not sharing it). It doesn't seem logical to me that it works like this since resistance wires run through the areas that don't heat up. And when I set it to high intensity (High) for example for 9 hours (the maximum time), after about an hour when it's warm, it starts to lose temperature and I see that it has dropped to Low and I have to raise it again. Maybe that's how it has to work so you don't die from the heat? Who knows...
The dimensions satisfy more than two people, its texture is very soft, the temperature at the high level is very high and at the lowest scale also very satisfactory. It can be used as a mattress topper and as a blanket. As a mattress topper, the comfort it offers is very high, it warms your back and relaxes all the muscles of the body. It is hand washable and dries internally on a clothesline. Avoid clothespins according to the instructions as well as exposure to the sun as it will damage the texture and protective material. The resistors are throughout the length of the blanket except for only 10 centimeters around because in other large electric blankets there is simply a small part in the center with resistors, something that does not happen here. The cable is very long and the controller is very user-friendly. A big advantage is the timer so you don't have to worry about falling asleep and burning your sleep either from the heat or from any damage. The 7 scales are exaggerated and with three it would be ok, marketing. Even if the electrical circuit breaks down in the future, it can still be used as a blanket. And like all fabric products, washing before first use is mandatory. I hope it will last over time
I chose this blanket firstly because I already have one of the same brand and I knew its quality, as I had bought it from abroad. Secondly, I chose it for its dimensions. I don't know why in Greece they call single-sized blankets "extra double", unless they think we're Smurfs!
This blanket is labeled as for one person, but it can also be used for a double bed. It comfortably covers a double bed.
It has many options for speed, heat, and time. I don't like the ones with fixed time that turn off, because if it's very cold, you have to wake up to turn them on again!
It is soft, lightweight, and has the highest coverage of heating elements on its surface compared to other blankets. (Usually, most blankets state their dimensions, but the coverage of heating elements is only 1x1 meter.)
Because we have been using them for years in my family, I can say that any damage that occurred was from the controller and never from the blanket itself. Unfortunately, it is not sold separately so it cannot be replaced, so you are left with the blanket... However, they are quite durable.
It heats up very well, especially the higher settings, which satisfy even the most demanding individuals.
Personally, it meets all the requirements I have for an electric blanket and its price is good for what it offers.
