A little difficult to install but much easier than the cheaper XIAOMI cameras. It didn't read the qr code to connect because I have a 5-year-old Samsung phone and I had to transfer my MI HOME account details to my friend's new XIAOMI phone. From there, it connected immediately, I logged out from the foreign phone, and now when I opened the app on my phone, the camera was already set up. To find the reset, unscrew the card cover and it is next to the card, not externally like in other xiaomi cameras
I have 2 identical ones for outdoor use and 2 for indoor use. Well, the outdoor ones (which the comment refers to) are unacceptable. Constant disconnections, constant wrong notifications. Also, when you look at what is written on the card, it freezes many times and throws you back to the beginning. It requires a lot of patience. The image is okay.
Good video quality and easy to use. However, poor application with very long delays in motion detection notifications and sometimes no motion notification at all. A bit expensive for its quality and functionality.
It no longer sends notifications and does not recognize the SD card to record. It has the latest update but that's it. It lasted a year. The only positives so far are the good image and the quick connection to the app, for someone who is not interested in notifications
I bought 3 for installation in the outdoor area of the house a year ago. They are still working flawlessly. Before installing them, I would recommend buying microSD cards as well.
It has very good image resolution with the ability for small zoom and in complete darkness it shows a black and white image but quite clear. The menu in the application is easy and you can save a snapshot of an image or video from an older file on your mobile. I had difficulty with the installation, it required special knowledge. For someone who is not familiar, do not tamper with the power supply. It is worth its money!

Very good camera, I have installed 2 on my boat since they came out. Despite the seas they have endured, I thought I would cry for them from the first week, but so far they still work like new. The software is strange, as a friend mentioned, with the Chinese server having some extra features, but it fully covers my needs and the updates come perfectly. It is just a little sensitive sometimes, it captures the waves or the reflection of the sea for movement and informs you. In terms of image quality, it is unbeatable. I permanently have it set to 1080p, but where it works wonders is the night mode. In absolute darkness, you can see everything up to 20 meters. Many times I have used it to approach small islands. For the money I bought it for €49, I believe it's worth it. Good day-night image, PTZ function for left-right movement only, and the ability to become a Wifi hotspot if connected wired. With the notifications, it's okay, it requires a little experimentation and effort (and patience) to get them sent correctly. One thing I didn't like is that in the Greece region, if you set it up, it doesn't have Cloud backup or at least I haven't found it yet. Now it only records on an 8GB SD card (not included in the package) and keeps about 7 days of recording, not continuous, only when it detects motion.... Somewhere it was mentioned that with the China region, this can be done as well as unlocking other features... I will try it at some point and I will come back... that's it... I hope I helped

One out of two had a problem with monitoring, after three resets and after 5 days another reset seems to be working fine now. Of course, it is good to have two to make automations with wake up to save in the cloud ☁️ for any possible situation when one sees something, the other wakes up and vice versa

Excellent camera, very easy installation, it has not disconnected once and I have it connected to wifi, but if you want you can also connect it with ethernet. You can move it left-right through the app, I have it connected to the Xiaomi app and not to Imilab's. If it could also move up and down through the app, it would be perfect, but it has such a large lens that I don't consider it a disadvantage.
Very good camera for its price. If you connect it with Ethernet, it can also become a WiFi hotspot, which is very helpful. It can record to the network's NAS, meaning you can connect a hard drive to the USB port of the router and turn it into a recorder. It has very good resolution. However, its application is not very good. In Greece, you cannot set it to focus on a specific area of the image for motion detection. It has AI to recognize if what it sees is a person, but it only activates if you enable general motion detection, which negates its usefulness. Also, the notifications did not come at first, then suddenly they started coming, and now they don't again.
The mechanism it has for panning left and right with the mobile phone initially checks for obstacles and then "learns" not to hit them, setting them as a limit. It has automatic infrared for night vision, and you don't need to adjust anything. You connect with your Xiaomi account and it plays remotely without being connected to the same WiFi, without opening ports on the router, whether to view live or to access the recorded footage. It has a microphone and speaker to function as an intercom. The downside is that it doesn't work without an SD card, even though it's almost useless if it records to NAS.
After years of use with multiple Xiaomi devices, I am starting to throw them away because they have serious software issues, while the build quality is good, the functionality is terrible. The camera stops recording movements after one day, and the home monitoring opens and closes on its own.
I have a simple internet connection, but I made sure to connect a Xiaomi repeater because it is relatively far, and I haven't had a single disconnection. The only issue I had was that I wasn't receiving notifications, but after countless settings adjustments on my phone and sending feedback to mihome, they started coming through. However, it can't distinguish between a person, a car, or even a moving leaf; it sends notifications indiscriminately, even though I have set it only for human presence. Additionally, in the European version, you can't specify which area the camera should send notifications from, but I'd rather receive them in bulk a thousand times than not receive anything at all like in the beginning.

I have had it for a week and I have to say that the camera image is very clear, it is easy to install, I did it myself without any help. I had another camera from a different company and it broke within 6 months, so I decided to get the Xiaomi one. I hope it lasts longer than the previous one. The image quality is significantly better compared to the previous one, it opens in 2 seconds, while the previous one took 30 seconds to open (sometimes even longer). I am coming back after almost ONE YEAR. The camera works perfectly, I have no issues, it disconnected from the network a few times but then it connected again on its own after a while, except for one time when I had to reconfigure it. It doesn't send me any notifications, it has never sent any, I don't know how to set it up... I haven't dealt with it at all. Other than that, the image is very good and I have no issues with the application
The camera has been installed just a few days ago. The first impressions are very good. Clear image day and night. It has a good range of vision, as it covers the entire space at the front door (only a skydiver can miss it....). With a 32 GB card, it can record up to 3-4 days. I am still exploring the camera for its capabilities. I will come back with an update
