The most value-for-money thermometer on the market has immediate and accurate measurement. What won me over was its immediacy (something I need during work hours and beyond). It has a strong magnet on the back so you can place it on a metallic surface and grab it whenever you need it. It is very easy to clean, and the best thing I found about it is that it has temperature guidelines for how meat should be cooked, whether it's beef, chicken, or pork. Get it with your eyes closed.

The measurements are precise every time it's needed and it cleans very easily. Did you find this review helpful?In cases where I need to take a temperature with a very quick indication, this one is relatively slow. The backlit screen turns off quickly, and you have to press the light button repeatedly. Since I purchased another brand (eti therma stick), I tested them simultaneously to determine any discrepancies. At low temperatures below 80-90C, there was no deviation. Around 120-130, there was a difference of about 3-5 degrees, while at high temperatures of 180-200C, the deviation was about 20-30 degrees C. Since there was no third thermometer in the test to determine which of the two had the error, I will assume that the error was with the thermal pro, since the eti costs three times as much and is considered a more reliable brand. Reliable if measuring liquids or internal food at relatively low temperatures, but unsuitable for high ones, e.g., oil in a fryer, etc.
Finally, although the eti is known for its speed, the thermal pro achieved almost similar reading times for the final temperature. Of course, I do not consider the thermal pro to be fast. On the contrary, the more expensive eti proved to be almost equally slow.

Its body is made of relatively good quality plastic for its price, with a little care it seems like it will last for several years. Its tip is quite sharp and easily penetrates the meat, where I have tested it so far. I also ordered an extra battery and I have attached it with tape on the thermometer's case, which I use as a cover, so in case the battery inside runs out, I will have a ready one and won't have to search last minute.
