Life is not easy for the Roman legionaries guarding the fortified camps of Totorum, Aquarium, Laudanum, and Compendium. Peace reigns in the small Armorican village, where the villagers go about their daily chores.

Our two heroes, Asterix and Obelix, are hunting wild boar, the blacksmith and the fishmonger are arguing, and the village chief is strolling around the village square on top of his shield.
