Very good battery, very good screen for the money.
Average speed.
Minimal storage space at 32GB, almost half is the operating system and the pre-installed apps. If you use YouTube, Google Photos, and generally apps that create a lot of cache, you won't have space for anything
The worst, it's not worth the money. Very slow and it freezes constantly even on simple tasks like browsing. Old operating system that cuts functions from apps.
First of all, it was purchased for a person who simply plays candy crush and watches YouTube so it doesn't have a big task manager to judge.
The first and main negative, as you can see in the photo at the top, the screen has lines with dead pixels, in black the contrast is even more visible.
The other negative is how the SD card works when you insert it. It makes you crazy to transfer them one by one there and most importantly in every application update it takes twice as long to transfer the update to the SD. From reviews I read, it is an issue that generally occurs with several Samsung devices but it is still annoying. In addition to this negative, to clear the cache you either have to do it again one by one from the applications box or you have to do a deep reboot and select this function in a separate menu and reboot again afterwards.
Third negative, although it is not a tablet of 1000€, is that it often has dead screens and you have to do a deep reset each time and wait how long until it returns.
In summary, I am not satisfied at all because it replaced a 2017 tablet and it is not in any way better than that except in speed, which is reasonable due to the chipset and its evolution. If it was for my own use, I would clearly give it 1 star, but because it helps in everyday life, it just passes the base to 3 stars
Excellent quality. If it could be used better by children, they would last forever. It's the 3rd one I get and even though all 3 are broken on all sides and the screen is full, they work normally. The best Samsung tablet ever released
We have had this tablet for three years now, I am now writing a review for the first time because this model really deserves it. We gave it as a gift to my little sister who is now in the third grade. She uses it for online classes, continues to attend online tutoring sessions, watches movies, videos, reads ebooks that she likes a lot, plays some games, and uses TikTok a little.
It has excellent and powerful sound, a nice, bright screen, a setting for eye protection that removes blue light because she reads for several hours, it is still very fast even now, but of course the little one has taken care of it, she has not overloaded it with a hundred apps, she always had storage space available. It works with a 128 GB SD and has not faced any problems. Very good build quality, metallic frame not plastic, durable overall, screen without scratches after all these years and we never used a screen protector. Fully compatible with the Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), she does most of her school work with it.
Overall, we have been very satisfied and would recommend it even today for simple use, despite its relatively small capacity (it is objectively an older model). It is definitely reliable and with an SD card it can easily meet basic requirements
I am very disappointed with its speed and Samsung's tactic of not allowing you to use an external memory card to expand the overall storage. This creates problems when trying to install multiple applications, and even though I have a 500 gigabyte memory card, I still have space issues. It should be noted that I don't have just one, but three, and there is no chance I would choose the same Samsung product again, maybe not even Samsung in general
Quite slow. Definitely install SWAP - no root. (it is a very simple app that converts 8GB of space from the SD card or mobile into RAM) After that, it flies.
After 1.5 years without much use, the tablet is sluggish. It has been formatted twice, but the improvement was minimal to nonexistent. The battery charges properly when it remembers to. The service told me that "the performance is logical and normal for this category..." Okay...
Well, I have had the tablet for 3 years.. I mainly use it for live music, orchestra and dance performances, and for browsing. It has very good sound, huge battery life, and charges very quickly in general. For me, if it had a 6th star, I would give it that. I wonder about the negative comments... I have also used it as an extra touch screen monitor for my PC and for PDFs. It has fallen two or three times, and the extra glass cover that I had put on it has cracked, but I replaced it just fine. It has also been exposed to rain because I use it outdoors a lot, and it hasn't had any issues. It also browses very quickly and has a good capacity... the best purchase I have made in terms of technology in the last 3 years... I would buy it again with my eyes closed.
The first one I had, after two years of use (very conservative), the battery would drain in 1-2 hours. I changed the battery, accepting the official service's explanation that it was probably a faulty battery. In 6 months, I faced the exact same situation, so I had to buy a new one (the same) because my wife had gotten used to it. In two years and 15 days, the battery "swelled" and caused the screen to detach!! All of this, of course, was outside of the warranty, as the two-year warranty does not cover the battery and some other electronic components (as I was told at the service!!). I have completely lost my trust in the company because I had the exact same issues (with the battery) with a smartwatch as well. It is worth questioning how the devices manage to break immediately after the warranty expires (whatever it covers, although I don't think it covers anything........)
Mediocre tablet, the image and sound are worth it but the speed is as slow as a snail... Also, it gave me a problem for which I don't know the cause. As soon as I try to go on YouTube or the browser, it throws me back to the menu and it seems like the middle button is being pressed! For half an hour, I struggle to stay on the webpage but in vain... I wouldn't recommend you to buy it as there are better tablets available.
My pets are slow, this specific tablet gives you a constant feeling that it is dragging even if you are not running anything in the background... overall, a mediocre to bad experience
I have a 3-year-old device that already has a problem with the charging port because it interrupts charging and eventually stopped charging altogether.
I use this template daily for about 5 months and it has never crashed. I highly recommend it, as Samsung is the best company. I also have a Samsung phone and it has never let me down.
I have had this specific tablet for 1 year. It is very good but I have noticed for a long time now that it freezes and presses buttons on its own. For example, it suddenly presses many buttons and goes to the camera, to games, while I am not pressing anything. Its photos are not satisfactory. Also, the storage is not enough for me, as I use it for games. Otherwise, it is a good tablet.
Nice screen, great sound, but it's slow.. it takes a while to open pages in Chrome, when browsing the menu, and when editing the Google Sheets I'm working on. Generally very slow in browsing and document editing. Otherwise, it's fine.
I have had it since it came out in 2021 and even now, after 2-3 years, I am very satisfied with it overall. For me, it is mainly for gaming and the battery lasts continuously for 5 hours with intervals of 6-7 (heavy games). I highly recommend it as it is both affordable and high-quality.
We bought one for each child (2). The tablet is fantastic, it doesn't lag and plays everything, the kids are satisfied! The 32GB is enough for apps and games, but for photos and videos, add a 64GB microSD. And definitely family link.
Excellent tablet for consuming entertainment content, decent for browsing and casual gaming. The screen is fine, and the speakers are very good for this category. I also have a case with a keyboard in case I need it for light work to replace my Windows laptop (basic things like document editing, emails, etc.). It can handle this role, but not with great ease, due to the limitations of Android and the mediocre processor and borderline RAM. The RAM will provide basic multitasking, but it should definitely be 4GB. In combination with the full but relatively heavy Samsung One UI, the tablet is average in terms of speed. However, I give it 5 stars because it is obviously not intended for heavy use, and for a price slightly above 100 euros, it was a good choice.
UPDATE after more than a year of use: The tablet seems to be slowing down gradually, which is logical considering its borderline specs, especially the RAM. It remains ideal for multimedia and simple browsing. On the positive side, it still receives security updates, albeit infrequently. It is no longer recommended to buy it with everything else available for under €200. I deducted one star.
After exhaustive use by a teenager, I concluded that its quality is exceptional. It presented no issues and is essentially a mini computer. I believe it's worth its price and once again Samsung has proven reliable to me, at least.
I didn't expect it to not lag in more demanding games!
The screen resolution is good, the battery lasts 1.5 days with moderate use.
The speakers are really much louder and clearer than the previous Samsung tablet I had.
This tablet is definitely not for heavy gaming. It can handle some games, but it will struggle with others. It's more suited for browsing the internet. The speakers are amazing and the screen is fantastic. If you plan on taking a lot of photos, this tablet may not be the best choice as it doesn't have the best camera. However, the battery life is excellent and can last all day with ease. If you plan on using this tablet for heavy applications, I wouldn't recommend it and suggest going for something higher-end like an iPad 9th gen, which is capable of many things and is only €150 more.
The tablet is quite mediocre... It belongs to a friend of mine and as the owner of the Lenovo tab m10 FHD plus, I can say that it's not worth it. Only the battery and processor are better, but the sound is perfect on this tablet. However, it lags and freezes on basic games like Brawl Stars. I don't recommend it at this price point, as you can find better options.
I have 3 identical ones over time, the kids have worn them out, the speed is not great, but the screen and sound are awesome, and it has a large battery.
