It is my favorite high shoe.
I have had it for 2 years and it hasn't suffered anything, not even faded. It is not just a hiking shoe, I used it as an everyday shoe and it did its job perfectly.
The only downside is that it slips.
Also, a piece of advice, remove the insoles.
Those who have it will agree with me

When I first wore them, I couldn't walk more than a kilometer. They were hitting my heel and the front of my toes. Eventually, only when I added insoles did they start to improve and now I have no complaints. Maybe they needed time to break in, but still, it's unimaginable for them to hurt so much in the beginning.
They have a narrow fit and you definitely need to buy them 1 or 1 and 1/3 size larger. I normally wear size 45, I got these in 46 and they fit me perfectly (especially with the insoles).
Although they now fit like a glove and are incredibly comfortable on my feet (I wear them daily), I don't know if I would buy them again, due to their narrow design and the fact that it took 2-3 weeks of use for them to mold to my foot.

I bought them for 76€, they are not suitable for hiking, they slip a lot in heavy rain, they are only for walking on dirt roads, nothing more.

Update.. In the 11th month they start leaking, I tried waterproof spray but nothing.. stay away from this particular model.

I wear Salomon size 42 2/3, I ordered them in size 43 1/3. They definitely need athletic/soft insoles for walking and they are okay. I haven't tried them in the rain yet. Heavy shoes, not for everyday use like previous models.

It is recommended to wear at least one size larger than your usual size. Generally, I would say to avoid this particular model, despite it being from a great company.

Despite reading the reviews and getting them one size larger, 44 3/4 instead of 43.5, they still have a very tight fit, resulting in being quite tight on the foot. Perhaps I should have gotten the size 45 instead?

They have a narrow fit. I have bought Salomon before and I am very satisfied with their comfort and quality. Unfortunately, even though I chose the same size 44, the shoe is smaller and tight. I had to stretch it at a cobbler's. Nevertheless, it is tolerable. Obviously, I should have gotten a larger size. Luckily, this is not my first experience with this brand because I would never buy again.

There was immediate delivery, initially when I tried them on, I had the feeling that they were tight, after 1-2 times everything was fine, I haven't tested their waterproof ability yet, to be honest I don't exclusively do hiking, I mostly run on rough terrain and such, their value will soon be proven, for now everything is good

Normally I wear size 44. As soon as I put them on, they feel a little tight around the laces. I will try them for a few more days and I will come back with feedback

Unfortunately, from the first day, they created a problem on my heel (even though I was wearing thick thermal socks), due to the hard upper part. I will try with thicker socks and I will come back. Otherwise, it is a nice shoe (I have 4 other SALOMON shoes of different designs and categories and I am completely satisfied with all of them).
27/6/21: I am returning with a reevaluation after a considerable period of time, as the shoe has "settled" and now I wear it constantly and I am very satisfied (lightweight, comfortable, etc.).
