The Door Gym Pro is an innovative pull-up bar that can be easily installed on the door without screws and suction cups. The pull-up bar is the most essential fitness equipment for strengthening the back, arms, and core. With its handles, it is a small gym on its own, allowing you to work out the entire upper body. You can also place it on the floor and use it for push-ups.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It says that it can hold up to 120 kilograms, but it's not for anyone, by any means. The point where the two halves connect (the left and right side) is essentially two pieces of iron that slightly overlap each other (if they overlapped more, it would be much more sturdy), and they are held together by two screws in the center. Because this point is in the center of the structure, when you grab the edges to hang, the more you hang, the more it sinks into this point, which makes you not trust at all that it won't break in half while you hang. And before you call me overweight, even my wife who weighs 57 kilograms doesn't trust it (okay, it definitely holds her, but because of this sinking, she is afraid it might break. Personally, I wouldn't take the risk with anything less than 120).
You might say, well, why did you buy a pull-up bar that's borderline for your weight? And you would be right - it was my mistake. I should have bought one that screws into the wall and be done with it. But that doesn't change the fact that this specific pull-up bar, if it's for 120kg, is barely suitable with an excessively slow weight placement and under the assumption that the weight will be completely still. I can't imagine someone at 120kg trying to do a repetition. I didn't give it a worse rating because I believe that for under 90 kilograms, it's fine if you're not afraid of the sinking it does.
The other problem is that it requires a trick to fit it properly on the door, so you don't hit your face with it, so every time you have a bit of "play" until you find the right position. I don't know overall how worth it is as an idea, in the end
Unlike other pull-up bars that require either screwing or tightening on the wall (resulting in the wall often being damaged), this one didn't require either (although it might need it if the user is very heavy). I can easily place and remove it whenever I want, and it has enough handles to exercise different muscle groups.
