Purchase 08/01/22. I don't have any experience with something similar and I bought it for amateur use. Quite a quality and sturdy product, with powerful magnets and a practical base.
Indoors, it is flawless and tested for accurate indication!
Outdoors, under "shade" below a pergola on a cloudy rainy day, it is disappointing.
The line starts to weaken at one meter distance and is lost at two meters.
I consider that for the 30 meters it claims, it doesn't have the brightness to serve in an outdoor space.
At night, yes, it can be seen from over 20 meters, but what can you do with that?

Very good for its price and quite powerful lighting. The beam angle is 135 degrees. It has a very strong magnet on its base and a tripod socket. I highly recommend it.

Very good product at a very good price. Clear beam, comparable to much more expensive products. Its features are similar to those of Bosch and Dewalt.
