To enjoy the playback of analog records more comfortably, the SL-1500C features a built-in phono equalizer. The built-in phono equalizer is designed to suppress the effects of external noise and noise from the power supply. It is also equipped with a switch to turn off the Line output when not in use. Additionally, it is designed to prioritize sound quality by minimizing the Phono signal wiring.
The high-sensitivity Ortofon 2M RED cartridge, combined with the high performance of the SL-1500C, ensures the maximum sound quality of vinyl records.
When the tonearm reaches the end of the record, the Auto Lifter function automatically lifts the cartridge, preventing unnecessary wear on your stylus and valuable vinyl records. With the integration of the Auto Lifter function into the tonearm base, vibrations are also eliminated.
The SL-1500C features a simple design while maintaining an impeccable sense of functionality. Its attractive appearance will add a distinctive touch to your space.

Buying a black sl 1500 c about a year ago, I successfully replaced my Garrard zero 100 that I had for many years.
I have the feeling that the purchase of the Technics was ultimately a good purchase, especially for its price (less than 900€), and it upgraded my sound system by providing a fuller sound than its predecessor.
The only thing that bothers me is the sound that the auto lifter makes when the record finishes, which I still can't get used to.
Good product, excellent sound. I upgraded to ORTOFON BLUE and noticed even clearer sound. For better sound, an external preamplifier like VINCENT PHONO 701 H IFI I PHONO3 should be used, but it increases the price by an additional 1000 euros. In the future, I will upgrade by getting ORTOFON BRONZE or BLACK. Be careful, the entire cartridge along with the stylus is needed if you decide to proceed with such an upgrade
Build quality, sound quality with the Orthofon Red, quiet, nostalgic, simple and beautiful... back to the future...
Sturdy construction indeed, shockproof and accompanied by a satisfactory head.
