After about two months of use, I am satisfied and I think I made a very good choice at a very good price compared to others, and after a lot of research based on my needs. Specifically, I wanted a filter at a reasonable price (like the replacement filter) that, in addition to effectively purifying the water (which this specific filter does very well, based on taste, odor, and clarity), also removes minerals. From using the kettle with filtered water, I notice a significant difference (in terms of mineral residue at the bottom of the kettle). Keep in mind that I live on an island with very "hard" water and quite strong chlorine. For example, with unfiltered water, the bottom of the kettle becomes white, with visible salt deposits, and requires cleaning after one use. With filtered water, this happens after about twenty uses.
